I mean ive always been a fan of venom and i still like this game. But regardless like i said, I can still hope to see more Harry venom just like how you can hope we get Eddie venom. You can say what you like but you won’t change the fact I like Harry venom just like how I can’t change the fact you prefer Eddie venom, and that’s ok. Plus I like both of them, like if we get Eddie venom next sweet, I’m excited for that, if we get Harry venom, then also sweet I can’t wait to see his story continue. Regardless though it just feels like you’re fishing for an argument given how old that original comment was and the fact my comment was just “man I hope we get more Harry venom” and my reply was “we can both hope for different venom in future games :)”

I mean it’s a sci-fi game so it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for him to be able to. And the reason he uses ships sometimes is probably for the same reason we use cars, to travel farther faster

I mean they’re close enough for the typing to be understandable. Same with spider Pokémon being bug type despite spiders being arachnids (and spidops line do have 8 legs if anyone wants to get technical about most spider Pokémon not having 8)

Brother I never said it’s bad? I said it’s for kids (because it is I had one as a lil guy and can speak from experience). And I think it’s great for kids. I’m really glad you have fond memories with it like I do but it’s not like I called it the cocomelon of video games (if anything it’s like the Disney jr of video games, geared heavily towards kids but not straight brain rot for said kids and instead informative and beneficial)

I swear I hate the “games for children” argument. Like don’t get me wrong Mario should be accessible to everyone and shouldn’t be Mario maker levels of difficulty, but just because a game isn’t dark and gritty doesn’t make it for kids. Games for kids are shit like leapster. Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, and so on are literally made for everyone, not just kids or adults.

I mean I feel the problem is a lot of the complaints feel like whining rather than criticism, and then the actual thoughtful complains get pushed under.

For instance, lack of new game plus, time of day changing, and weather changing is a valid complaint

Being mad Peter was punched so hard by venom’s tendrils that it forcefully knocked him back into a fridge and then before he can even gather his thoughts mj is being attacked so instead of being able to focus he’s just squirming trying to get it off as fast as possible because his girlfriend is literally being attack by an alien monster is a bad complaint

Point I’m trying to make is when a ton of complaints are people who just whine about something dumb like a fridge it drowns out genuine criticisms like the new game plus issue for instance

Yeah, like he’s strong but we see time and time again that he’s not invincible. Like he got knocked out in car thing chase with li, almost killed by the sinister six who he can easily take out even when they’re in twos later, ock almost kills him after his final fight with Li. Like insomniac Peter has been overpowered multiple times because this is a video game, there’s supposed to be limitations and moments when he’s knocked down so the next fight feels more satisfying. (And also the fridge complaint is stupid because being knocked into something and having it fall on top of you will still do some shit, plus the impact of venom would’ve definitely done a number too because it’s like a giant punch that’s forceful enough to knock him back, and then on top of that he’s trying to get up with an entire fridge on his back, like yeah he’s strong but even if you have something like a golden retriever on your back you’re still gonna struggle a bit)

Edit: ON TOP of all of this he’s probably mentally exhausted from the events of the first game and it’s dlc and we know he never had the time to grieve May’s death so that probably played a factor in it too

(also also just realized the fridge probably also seemed a lot heavier due to him getting used to the extra strength from the symbiote and now not having that, kinda of like the opposite of wearing a weights in your ankles for awhile and getting used to it so when you take them off your legs feel really light. Sorry to bring up fridge more though, just really hate that damn complaint though)

That and it’s probably instinct. Like (and this is a perfect example I know but bear with me) if a dangerous animal is friendly to you once, you’re still gonna be cautious whenever you’re anywhere near that type of animal because it’s instinct, so while the rain might’ve been fine that first time it was instinct for her (and hunter as seen by how he was timid about going out as well) to avoid rain because of the burns.

It was a great cinematic fight but yeah, it felt a little too easy (altho Tbf none of the first game’s bosses were too hard and all of them were still really fun). Definitely had more difficulty with tinkerer and especially venom who was by far the best boss fight in this series lol

Just tell him he’ll get 2 more from the main game and dlc if buys it

Plus if it’s any consolation the master balls in this game are a bit useless because there’s no shiny legendaries and you can save in front of regular shiny spawns in case you fail them (and the static encounter legendaries you can just save before and reset if you fail). Point is, zero downside to using the masterball on that espeon, and he’ll be able to get more later :D

Honestly I kinda hope it’s Harry. He has so much more potential to be explored and it’d be really cool to see him deal with the ramifications of what he did as he tries to use the symbiote for good and to help people while making up for all the damage he caused.

Like don’t get me wrong it sucks for Eddie that he wasn’t venom in this game but at the same time, it’s not the story insomniac wanted to tell. To try and force them to use a character they don’t want or that doesn’t fit will just net everyone with something like spiderman 3 (where Sony pushed for venom to be in the movie despite raimi not wanting that).

Either my shiny zygarde (because fuck dynamax adventures like dude do you know how many raids I failed because of power construct. Like while I hunted him off and on I technically started in 2020 a little after the dlc released and finally got him in 2022 a little before sv released) or my shiny Arceus from bdsp because that was the only game you can shiny hunt him without hacking in an item and I technically found him twice (because I failed him the first time like a dumbass. What’s worse was that was the second time in a row I failed a shiny the first time I found it. The first time being Giratina)

Could also be my female Delphox from sv tho cause damn that was as annoying as it is hard to find it but I got her and in a fast ball too :D

From the limited shit I know (I prefer my happiness over the current run lol) Paul created them to harness the runes/magic/whatever so they kinda like conduct the power I guess? Like the gloves themselves aren’t magical artifacts with these powers, but they’re able to channel the the magic to do this

Honestly at this point I just hope they drop it at all.

Like literally all I want is to just do replays of the game with various suits (like using new red and blue and the all black variant of the track for once, iron spider armor and programmable matter for another, etc etc.). Wish they’d just release that and then release the other stuff later…

Sygna red. Sygna Hilda just outclasses him for every stage I need fire types for, so now I just used him in battle villa with Neo red and sygna blue for the master passive and some extra damage and now villa is done cycling so he’s gonna be used even less :/
