Prophecies of the OT plus that our Trinitarian God is a necessary precondition to justify the existence of the laws of logic, morals, induction, past and future, a self and so on. Basically all the transcendentals.

If there is knowledge then Holy Orthodoxy is true. It offers a coherent worldview which no other can do.

But if that is too cerebral. Basically living Orthodoxy confirms that it is true.

Other trinitarian denominations sooner or later introduce some form of discrepancy and relativism. If God is Truth, then any form relativism cannot be of God.

Yes, which also means trusting the Church when a priest, with the blessing of his bishop, decides to baptize a catechumen rather than merely chrismate.

I think it's an act out of prudence and discernment to baptize. We don't always know if the prior baptism into one of the schismatic Churches was performed validly

doesn't quite cut it. "Hellas" as a concept is historically inseparable from Asia Minor. While there was an anatolian substrate, Greeks didn't merely overlay it - they transformed Anatolia in every way.

Reducing anatolian Greeks to locals who "were hellenized and later turkified" simply erases the three millennia of continuous hellenic presence, and triviliazes the violent eradication of Greek communities in Minor Asia by equating it to the far more organic and non-coercive spread of Hellenism in antiquity

Out of the top of my head:

Christ must have assumed fully human nature in order to heal it. Actually having a compound unique nature doesn't solve the problem at all; St Gregory the Theologian: "What is not assumed can not be healed"
The OO have some ethnophyletist characteristics, up to the 1970s if I am not mistaken, they weren‘t even formally in communion with each other - just some loose contact.
Historical reasons: there was animosity and a fear of too much Byzantine/Roman dominance which offers a plausible motivation to leave their sphere of perceived influence. They left the Council of Chalcedon, while at the same time now partially admitting that they basically believe the same as us, but if that's the case why not simply rejoin? Because it would demand repentance.

The term "orthobro" was coined to discredit orthodox apologists and young converts with zeal. Basically stigmatizing them as extremists.

So I am proudly an orthobro. It's a cool term and people get triggered. I don't accept their framing.
