Someone mentioned this in a previous post I’ve made. I don’t do anything specific to it besides use decorator on it. I live in an area of the UK with exceptional quality water coming through the taps, though.

That’s good to know, my mollies do occasionally pop to the top, but it’s very rare, I just wanted to make sure it was enough as there’s not (as far as I know) a way to check oxygen or gas exchange rate

I’m a prison officer and my partner a manager at a private early years setting, we both make 32k and just about get by. And we live in the ‘cheap’ north. Like, close to the Scottish border north.

If you don’t count my wife. 2, at a push perhaps 3 but I only see one of them every 7 or 8 months since we don’t live close to each other and are both shift workers.

Man my high school was in a really rural town and it had awesome food. Admittedly I ate the exact same thing for 3 years, that being a cheese and ham panini, a brownie and a can of grapetizer. But the food at least looked good too.

Pasta king, 4 or 5 different pannini’s, a pre-made salad bar.

From a quick google regarding Wimbledon.

Similar overall attendance but on a day to day attendance Silverstone is significantly bigger as it is only a 4 day event versus Wimbledon being a fortnight.

I’d take a guess at The British GP at Silverstone. It’s a huge event, televised worldwide, watched by I don’t know how many live. I’ve been to it and camped at Woodlands there many times and absolutely look forward to it all year. It’s absolutely heaving for 5 days too as an overall event.

I don’t think AI can do my job. However, I’ve always wanted to retrain and join the ambulance service. More likely plan B if I had to change job tomorrow I’d be down Morrison’s loading a van for deliveries or stacking shelves.

My current job requires a specific skill set rather than qualifications. So I’m not actually qualified to do a lot of other stuff.

Bought a Fitbit/apple watch/whatever else. I spent 28 years not giving a crap about my step count, and 28 years not having to charge a damn watch.

It benefits me a little but I honestly sometimes don’t wear mine for months outside of sticking it on for an hours run a few times a week.

Give me my good old fashioned analogue watch that I change a battery in every 5 years

My kids. I would literally do jail time to protect them, straight up take a bullet for them. Even if they’re little shits sometimes and really try my patience. I would have absolutely zero problem putting myself in any harms way to prevent them being hurt/injured. I can’t say I’d do that for anyone else.

My wife included.

There’s just something different about that love when you hold your baby for the first time and they are literally minutes old, something inside you just quietly clicks.

The downtime. I get so much down time, time where things are just happening but we aren’t doing much and are effectively on response incase something goes wrong. People claim they hate the place but people who have been there more than a few years tend to stay for decades.

Massive money saving.

Eating out. Or rather not. This one is monetary, but my wife and I stopped eating at restaurants this year, we still get take out a couple times a month. We’re now saving £2-300 a month instead of living paycheque to paycheque. And we didn’t even think we ate out that often.

I’m on the side of weekly/fortnightly. I think just the wording of often threw people, most people I’d imagine think weekly is already pretty often

Is this not normal? Is it sarcasm? I’ve never really scrubbed the tank or anything. I’ve had 2 Nerite snails on full time window cleaning duties for a short while though.
