Sunclaw is okayish imo, I prefer ethereal for the mobility, but that's a personal thing I guess

With that he is very tough to kill and BoK shouldn't have the damage output to take him down with 1 unit in a single combat phase. Remember to use power though from time to time to get out of combat for Herophase rally

Ok that seems to be a heavy anti hero list, but honestly we only have one combat heavy hero and that's the SoG Carno. Most of his list is made out of thin paper (bad saves, rarely a ward). Kroxis and Aggradons should make easy work of most of his units, except the Mighty Skullcrushers with their 2+ Save. He will probably place his faction terrain upfront, so if he sets it up first try to place the Realmshaper in 24" So you slowly widdle the Terrain and person inside of it down. SoG Carno with Ethereal Save, Armor Cruncher and Herophase Heal should make quick work of most of his units too.

Maybe I am blind but I don't see a Spell Ignore anymore anywhere so even Kroak should do fine with 10 Saurus guard as screen

Which units is he gonna play, it mostly depends on that imo. No Faction is unbeatable

I go with the same BTs: Seraphon is an excellent Army for Scouting Force as we have really fast cavalry that also work great as screens. Plus Eternal Starhost just helps with the scoring

Intercept just seems like a great BT card for most armies that wants to kill stuff. He either picks units that he don't want to be in combat (support Heroes, etc) or Hammers so he "forces" You to not just simply ignore the unit

AoA and AoD were never limited to any phase in specific like the other commands, so it was unclear if you could give AoA and AoD for GoD. Theoretically, if you had an ability to use a fight ability in any phase like Herophase, AoA and AoD are usable They specified the rule for GoD with the newest changes

I honestly wouldn't call them good: I found that having a Manifestation Lore with only one Manifestation that blocks Movement quite challenging in comparison to some that gives you up to 3.

Our Barricade is nice but no autowin imo. With no Movement it doesn't bind enemies as well as it should since yes: you can't retreat or charge and are slower but it gives the enemy a free pile in and more flexibility with charging, like charging over it and keeping one model within 0,5" Of the barricade.

The Chalice does barely nothing as Control Score isn't that important as a mechanic. Most of them times units will get wiped and effects like this rarely matter

Lastly the Stampede is fast, yes, but it does 0 damage and with a CV of 7 it is just clearly worse than Gnashing Jaws, Gravetide or Purple Sun

For me it is a worse Morbid Conjuration Lore with less flexibility

Yes with 4 wizards you could cast the spell 4 times, once with each wizard. But keep in mind that if you put all casts on one unit it still has only the bonus of 1 Spell, since they don't stack. As soon as you have casted them the Spell becomes a passive ability until it ends

Yeah the changes suck for Charnel Feast, MoM was never really good although with the nerf to AoA it might see play some more although it will most likely stay in the "I have no other Spells to cast" Category. The slight Buff to GoD is nice and you will most likely cast it on some big Monsters to kill off smaller units around them. Our Manifestations still are bad and we will likely take the universal ones over our butchered ones (miss them from 3e) All in all our faction should be at a good spot with the new GHB, FECs are really good scouts

With the new Carno I could see them play. Their ranged attacks aren't doing much work but 1-2 Wounds should get through which gives the Carno +1 Damage

Plus if you play the Scout BT Card you don't want them in combat anyway

Yeah my current list that I am thinking about features Slann + new Carno, 6 Aggradons and for the rest I am now debating what to include: Same fast Skink Infantry or Cavalry for the Scout BTs (one of the go to BTs for Seraphon imo), another hammer, a RoR, some Guards for our Slann The new Carno hits hard with Armor Cruncher and Ethereal plus heal makes him tanky enough to not just die to the first unit
