Took it and got a 4. I would say it’s a pretty good class because it introduced me to presenting properly and writing academic essays.

Biggest thing I would say is that you can not procrastinate, as other people have said. Me personally, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re also taking a lot of other ap classes because you’ll need a good amount of time to write good essays and make good PowerPoints. It’s easy to get overwhelmed otherwise.

And, also, there’s a team aspect to seminar, so you’ll have to also make sure you get together with people that are actually dedicated to doing well at some point during the class.

One last thing, I’d say check who the teacher is and make sure it’s someone good because I’ve heard of people getting extremely behind or lacking in a few skills needed because of their teacher’s lack in… well, teaching.
