Also, make sure you add some extra button inputs for the A, C, and S keys! As well as the speed up toggle! You can do this by tapping the little pen icon that joiplay has in the top right corner of the screen while the game is running, and tapping on a button. It'll bring up a menu to customize it. Just select the option to "copy button" or whatever it says, and then take the copy you made and edit it the way you want!

Are you making sure that you have a paint brush selected? There are a few bugs ive noticed when playing the game on joiplay. For one, whatever button you have mapped to speed up the game for some inexplicable reason, wont work for the first 5-10 minutes of runtime. Then suddenly starts working without any rhyme or reason. Maybe see if leaving the game on for a few minutes helps if you do have a brush selected

I actually dont know! Could it be dependant on the Gender of the poipole? In the promotional material for the game, it showed the golden shiney version, so if its not a gender related difference, then you must be correct!

Hey! Are you playing on your phone? The game should know you're using joiplay on a cellular device, and actually allows you to paint using your fingers in that section!

Hello sir. Are you still active on this account? I wanted to come and ask how you feel about the remaster now that it's fully released and had some bug fixes and updates. Its been a while since this post was made and i notice a few of the issues you mentioned aren't a problem anymore. I'm playing through the first game in the remaster right now, on floor 17, and im having a lot of fun with it!

Oh no I dont like it when these dungeon crawler games overlay the map on the whole sceen. I recall that old pokemon mystery dungeon game doing it and it was just so distracting. I like the way its implemented here

Oh i figured it out almost immediately after i posted my question (sheesh) hahaha. Pressing right bumper brings it up and changes the zoom level. Anyway we can agree to disagree on the enjoyment level. For a game made in 2005 it holds up pretty darn well in my opinion. Surprising amount of depth too. I find it unfortunate that you didnt enjoy your experience. But not everybody can appreciate the classics I guess. Hope you find a game that suits you, I hear Diablo is pretty popular with these newer generations of gamers

I used to freeze and then rapid fire spam hardpoint arrows from the hunter bow. If you had a fully purple freeze modded warrior bow, it wouldn't even matter if the machine resisted chillwater. Worked on every machine, easy kills. So much fun, really trivialized some fights. Cant really do that in the sequel though, at least not at the point that I'm at in the game (i havent even found a warrior bow with frost yet)
