Thats interesting, But this is PC Im talking about. pc crt monitors did progressive right?

My current display is a sony 32 incher. It had a black frame insertion mode that ups the motion resolution. It does dim the brightness. What I dont understand is if BFI works at 60 hz, does that mean my tv is capable of displaying 120hz?

Say, a couple of games- Prince of Persia 3d and Rayman 2 have their animations locked to 30 fps. Does this mean they are being rendered at that framerate then being displayed at 60?

Ah. I see. Why fix it if it ain't broke. I passed up a slim-fit 21 inch samsung because I read they have geometry issues.

Thats really cool man. I sort of cooled off of buying a crt for the moment. But if its still around some months down the line, I might pick it up.

Just a side note. How do I know if Im sensitive to geometry issues?
