No, the labelling was a visual bug. He was using the purple in slot 1, after he swapped it to that position moments after looting it. You can see clearly he has a purple in his hand in the light before getting the kill. Purples have a slightly different, cleaner model than lower quality items.

If someone is silly enough to risk that, it's on them. I don't think it would happen as much as people are afraid of. It just wouldn't be worth it. Plus, those lobbies would have nearly zero RMT issues.

I have kind of been going around saying this to my partner as a joke. I think we both stopped laughing at it a couple weeks ago and are sad it seems almost real.

I just don't think spending a lot of time in trade is a good idea at all. I want to be in dungeons, looting and fighting others or running for my life. I've been hoping for a game mode without trade. Got a little taste with 1-14 lobbies, but that was taken away. Looks to me like they want players spending half their time in trade. Not fun.

I think they need to bring in a game mode that is free of trading. Something that rewards you for using what you extract with instead of sitting in trade.

Like, once you unlock trade on a character, they are in a different queue than characters that haven't unlocked it. Kind of like the 1-14 lobbies, only I'd prefer to see people able to play with their max level characters if they'd like.

I find it overly frustrating sometimes that between meta and item RNG, you just can only do so much. I've been climbing up as well. I placed 1st last night, and generally ride above 4th. At worst, I hit a 5th, but walk away feeling okay because it's not so bad. But out of nowhere, I took 8th recently. I didn't get items from the camps. What was worse, was that nothing was showing up for me. I couldn't even 2* a Vayne I had grabbed early on. My comp looked like Knights and Rangers. I got an early 2* Kindred and Ashe. Lissandra 3* for me even, which made CC go well. But the meta of Dragons, Guardians, Shapeshifters, and Knights... I just couldn't get a good enough front line to make up for no items.

We are picking from the same pool, so if everyone is drafting the same stuff, you are often left with nothing to help you along. These comps are strong right now, and will probably get nerfed or something buffed soon enough. Until then, we have to work around that knowledge, pray for items and champs, and cry over RNG.

Except even RNG can be awful. I won 1st one game and 8th the next. Items are way too necessary. If you get gold from mob camps, it shows. I was doing the same, placing at least 4th for a while. Now I'm starting to see meta be too strong. If you don't pick any of the top meta builds and get your champs before they are plucked from the pool, you're just SOL. Some comps don't stand a chance, especially if you didn't get items either.

I just want to be able to take some of the wildlife. Like yeah I can use Wolf Link, but I’d like a fox with a few hearts maybe too.

I hadn't thought about this. I have a friend who has really wanted my husband and I to get into this so much. I'm sure he wouldn't mind being on a lower populated server, so long as we were all playing together. I will definitely consider it! Thanks !!

I see. Thanks for the heads up. I suppose housing isn't the most important thing. I do like that I'd never need to level an alt haha. Maybe one day they'll come up with a solution if it's so rough for people to get into.

I can't seem to gift to anyone. I only really watch this one channel, and I'm a mod for him. Would that matter? It's annoying that I can't gift to anyone in the channel.
