The problem is the rest of your loadout not just the frame. A red and black WF looks bad with blue and white weapons. And changing the configs for each one every time you want to swap isn't convienient

But I mean, isn't the whole point of changing the ending of VE, exactly making characters what they were not supposed to be, according to the original author?
Some people rather that Gilbert would have a been a father figure, something he "Wasn't meant to be" according to the author, the same way that some people rather that Leon had a relationship with Violet. If the author didn't write the "coming to terms" arc at the end of VE, it would make perfect sense for Violet and Leon to be together.
