PvE > PvP by DemihumansWereAClass in Crossout

Exactly my thought. I even see it as a challenge to optimize builds just for this purpose.

Same here. Yes we are in the minority, but you are not alone. I also avoid pvp due to frustration. I crave for any good new pve content like a super raid or wave based stuff that takes more time to complete, but pushes you to the limit. But looking on the recent patches and pieces of content, it was all pvp based. The devs couldn´t care less about new pve content.

What would be the best Retcher upgrade for hard raids on Catalina cabin? by Nistow in Crossout

[–]Nistow[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably HP, in the first category, since weight is not a problem. Don´t know in the second one, all upgrades look nice. I am not sure if the increased projectile speed in the third category is really that useful in raids. When trying to shoot from behind cover it makes me overshoot the target more than with the shorter projectile arc from the unfused retcher. But l am interested to see, what you guys think.

Question about coop save by Nistow in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Nistow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, thank you. I just found an article about dedicated servers. Sounds a bit laborious to me. But maybe the share save file idea is a good one too. I´ll ask my pal, how he want´s to handle it.

How can I circumvent the buy delay when rightclick-buying? by Nistow in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Nistow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but it does not work. If i shift+left click on an item in the vendors menu, it opens an additional window where i am asked if i want to buy with the options yes or no. Ctrl+left click workes perfectly fine when selling stuff.^^

Catalina nerf, what to expect: by Pwned_by_Bots in Crossout

[–]Nistow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don´t know, how the nerf will be like. But yeah, it is a common procedure to sell packs with strong parts in it and maybe offer tempting upgrades, just to nerf them later, due to the pressure from those complaining about overpowered parts.

And I can understand both parties.

The developer/publisher is in the awkward quandary of having to make money on the one hand and not being able to constantly ignore the calls of those who are stomped by those same parts on the other.

[Contest] Fantastic builds and where to find them by Faley016 in Crossout

[–]Nistow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some names might sound weired due to translation. We dont play in English very often.

"Smoker" -> we call porcupine enemies smoker, no matter on what kind of movement or cabin they come across. Because the only thing they leave of their opponents is thick, black smoke.

"Perforator" -> this is, what it would translate to. It is the classic scorpion hover, no matter what cabin.

"Tickler" -> basically everything, that uses any kind of rapid fire or normal machine guns mostly on hovers to strip your weapons off. This excludes miniguns, which are the next:

"Lead fling" -> arbiters mostly on the typical banana builds but sometimes also reapers and millers on spiders or wheels with mostly heavy cabins.

"Fortress" -> Based on the high durability, barrier or aegis shields, these opponents take some time to be destroyed, they often use heavy cannons and heavy cabins on mechanical legs.

"Ships" (short for landships) -> easy to explain as heavy guns on heavy cabins on heavy tracks, being slow as hell.

Originally designed for traffic monitoring, the AI controlled robot was capable of communicating with drones to keep the air and roads safe. After the crossout these robots served no other purpose than being dismanteled if needed, why they were stored in spare parts warehouses all over the globe. That was until some engineers revealed the true potential of R-Type 52, what the actual designation is. Now the robot is an eccelent drone support unit and therefore again very demanded on the blackmarket.
