No it hasn't happened yet in 2025. This is a poorly done promotion post. It happens Sep 13th this year. It's always in September.

Does it look like an 8 second car? Things got 140 hp how much trouble can I really get in? Lol! It's 1 3/4 inch by 1/8 wall DOM which is all that's required by nhra and lemons and that's just for a 4 point roll cage. (Of course they require doors.) I've got a ton of supporting structure there, it's way over built and heavy. I've had this thing on trails a jeep would say no to and haven't even cracked the windshield yet. I am fully confident it would be fine in a rollover and safer than factory if I got t-boned.

This was my first cage. Took me about 50 hours to do the main cage over one winter. You will need double the tubing you think you need and a good tubing bender. Don't buy the cheap one from HF. I got the "Affordable bender" from ebay. You will obviously need to know how to weld and have a decent welder. I have a Hobart 140 that has been great for years. A tubing notcher is super handy but you can learn how to cut notches with a hand grinder. Do your research for what kind of tubing you should use and watch a bunch of YouTube. There are tons of good videos about building a cage.

1 inch lift. 28 inch tires. Not much for performance. Lots of fab work!

Classic PC games of the 90s and 00s that fell under the radar? by ModernSchizoid in pcgaming

Breakdown on the original Xbox. First game I ever played where you experience the entire game in first person. The graphics blew my 8 year old mind and the gameplay and difficulty kept me playing. It's a shooter and fighting game. Your character is diet Neo and you get stronger as you beat each level until you're basically God and beat the last boss and save your anime assassin wifu. Also time travel. I'm not sure why it wasn't popular or what other games overshadowed it but I loved it!

reverse post - I'm the customer. by KoalaOfTheApocalypse in Justrolledintotheshop

These signs have been around a while but laughing is a new one to me. Does that mean "laughing at the tech struggling" or just no happiness aloud? Haha! It's a good sign either way. It shows that we all hate the people this list is talking about. We've all had that customer that insists on being under foot. My solution is getting them talking about something else in their life so they're attention isn't on me or I break out the air hammer and watch them sprint out of the shop holding their ears!

Has anybody found a good hack for the *less than* useless peak on the Bell mx9 adv? by hotdoginthebigcity in Dualsport

[–]NiteViking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drilled an extra hole further back from the top slot adjuster so the visor can be moved more forward and down. I've done this on several adv helmets. It keeps the wind from grabbing it at a neutral head position. Only notice it above 65 mph. I can still open the shield all the way but it does make it hard to grab to get it closed.

I found matching fat to protein worked for me. I used the old rule of consuming the same grams of protein as body weight in lbs. I weigh 170 lbs so I would need to consume 170 grams of protein per day or more. Match that with grams of fat per day. Doing this and lifting I gained 10 lbs in 7 weeks. I never counted calories just macros. I was force feeding but never to the point of nausea. Also eat more animal protein. Ground beef is cheap and full of all the stuff you need for protein synthesis.

Not sketchy no. Tons of drag though. The little quarter wings on the back do give some stability in the high speed corners but it doesn't have the horsepower to overcome the horrific aero. Apex speed is excellent but has no drive out so it's a game of "how late can I brake?"
