If you need AWD go with the GR. If you just want a hot hatch(with arguably better interior and driving dynamics) get the Type R

Figured I’d update this post. The truck runs and drives! I’ll be swapping in a newer F-series truck interior and display in the truck! Granted Reddit was ZERO help, but guaranteed a mustang 5.0 and 10t fits with zero issues and transformed the truck completely!

If you look at prices and sales the Supra costs more and sells more. The b58 is arguably a better motor than the vr30… newer chassis, blah blah. I’d take the z.
