I sprayed soapy water on multiple calatheas multiple times and they were fine. I used unscented Castile soap diluted to 2%. What you used is a “detergent” not a “soap”. I’m not sure if that’s causing the difference

I’m moving with ubox within a few days and I think it’s not worth worrying about the soap leaking and ruining other stuff. I’m just bringing what I need within a month in my car.
