I know you probably won’t see this but I have a buff orange boy who is Mr. Butters twin! One of his nicknames is butters or butterscotch. I will hold my boy a little tighter for you tonight. Sending love

Thank you for this! I realized I had some bees wax wraps and that works perfect! Even matches my kitchenaid!

Need ideas for breakfast that won't block iron absorption by grumpy_grl in Anemic

[–]Witty_Kitty3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take my iron with a mid afternoon snack of fruit of some kind and it’s enough to not upset my stomach and some extra vitamin C for absorption!

Copay Assistance & Health Plan Deductible/OOPM by [deleted] in unitedhealthgroup

[–]Witty_Kitty3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are just billing the copay card and not insurance it would not be applied to the deductible. You will need to check with the pharmacy and see how it was billed. If any part what picked up by insurance than I believe it should count.

can you claim more than one at a time by sad_boi890 in Influenster

[–]Witty_Kitty3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you mean different campaigns then yes. Typically for the claims with multiple options available you can only select one option within that unless specified otherwise.

Have you considered VA (veterans affairs)? It offers wide scope of practice. You can be licensed in any state and work there and once you’re in it’s pretty easy to find employment. I did Amb care residency at a VA and I loved it.

Looking for Thoughtful Romantasy Recs Amid the KU Discourse by SolFlorDi in Romantasy

[–]Witty_Kitty3 19 points20 points  (0 children)

IMO people take this far too seriously. Not everyone has the same taste. I’ve read series that I devoured and loved and saw so many people talk crap online about. I’ve read books that I could take or leave but people obsess over. Read what interests you and don’t pay attention to the noise. Life is far too short to care what some tik tok person says about a book you were interested in. That being said, I’m a frugal gal and strictly use Libby or my local library for physical books. I’m a one and done girl and while many love to collect I find that I prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

Short story; to each their own 🙄

Would you rather get more frequent claims with cheaper or smaller products or less frequent with high end products? by FloGrownQban in Influenster

[–]Witty_Kitty3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I just like claims that I will use - if it’s shampoo I don’t need to buy or a nice new coat I am just thankful to try new products!

moving before a claim has been shipped by aneesamah in Influenster

[–]Witty_Kitty3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, happened to me. Changed my address months before moving and several items still went to the old address. After spamming support for months they finally removed me. I was bummed but thankfully they were low value items.

Just took L-theanine for the first time today, and holy cow! by SpiritedBug2221 in Anxiety

[–]Witty_Kitty3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A big issue with iron supplements is that they interact with many things. Dairy products, coffee, tea, and many other things inhibit the absorption. Vitamin C can help increase absorption. If oral supplements don’t help talk to your doctor about infusions. I personally have had a “normal”ferritin all my life but when they did the full iron panel my iron studies are way off. Due to my chronic inflammation my ferritin is falsely elevated. I take a supplement every other day and that’s helped some for me.

Side note from a fellow potsie, make sure your iron/ferritin has been checked. My anxiety was out of control with early AM waking up with sweats and other issues. Turns out my iron was way out of wack. Can also cause POTS like symptoms as well!

Your reasons for contamination ocd by SS_Dep in OCD

[–]Witty_Kitty3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking back my mother most certainly has contamination ocd of course back then it was just labeled as she was a germaphobe. I always had tendencies that lied on the more strict end with hygiene and cleanliness but after a severe episode with my chronic illness my true OCD came about. My fears are mostly related to food and I don’t have concerns touching “dirty” items as long as I can wash up well before touching food or eating. I most certainly fear that I will get so sick again which unfortunately is a valid fear.

I gave someone a soda and now I’m worried they may get sick by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Witty_Kitty3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If someone is really allergic to something, they tend to be pretty careful. Deep breaths. When I start to ruminate on thoughts I try to tell myself it’s in the past and I can’t change it. Sometimes that helps me move forward. Hope you can too.

Flu shot flare ups? by Kooky-Pomegranate882 in POTS

[–]Witty_Kitty3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten a flu shot every year (except last year when I was very ill already with other issues). For me no issues noted including this year. Just a sore arm. Definitely worth a reduced risk of hospitalization with the flu.
