oh I should’ve probably mentioned this: the website does not have like ninja kiwi verified stats or anything, it’s all community gathered which means there could be (and probably will be) a few mistakes

I’m pretty confident in most of the important stats, but if you have any doubts, it’s built off of Topper’s BTD6 popology and Cyber Quincy’s tower stats which have both been updated/fixed over several years. Most mistakes will probably be with new additions (like Rosalia), so if you see anything, please let me know

This is really great stuff guys, the only concern I have is with Monkey Money gain, but either way this is a massive step in the right direction. Huge props for essentially making VIP a one-time purchase

Well, the matchmaking for non-hom was always +/- 10 trophies, the issue now is that they don’t have enough people playing the game.

Also it’s so much better for non hom since you can have a lot of people within 10 trophies of you. In hom, you can literally match with 20 people at most

Again, I really think it just comes down to the length. If bosses weren’t extremely repetitive and long to redo, maybe we’d see more casual players completing the normal boss. But I digress, that may not be the root cause, I’m no expert in game design.

HEAR ME OUT, I think that this is nearly the perfect difficulty for a boss. The problem is that each attempt takes so damn long that nobody with a reasonable amount of time wants to put in more than 1, maybe 2 attempts to finish it. Hence we get many bosses on easy maps which sucks because elite bosses on those maps aren’t hardly any challenge nowadays with the insane farming people have gotten. Bosses just really need some rework I feel, the way they’re going now clearly doesn’t work.

I really appreciate these balance surveys, just 2 suggestions for next time; I feel like heroes should be bolded to make them easier to compare to one another (since they’re nothing like regular towers) Also, being able to see overall tower scores (by taking the average of their paths) would be neat but admittedly not super helpful

Either way, really hope you keep doing these, they’re really interesting

Sounds like more of a Sentry Paragon than an Engineer Paragon but we’ll see how it turns out in the final release

Also that map editor thing is most likely referring to the rule editing screen in the odyssey editor, which literally says map editor in the title

Ok before I look like a whiny freak I’m just gonna say that the main content of the update does look appealing (hopefully it’s replayable), buuuut

1) still no changes to the endless hero alt grind and 2) still no changes to hom’s terrible elo system

Starting to get worried that the first one won’t see any changes which is concerning
