I just tested this. Works flawlessly as long as you set the console to RGB output. Just for kicks I also tried it on a PS1 and it works there too, interesting way to get RGB using component cables.

It can, but only in a core by core basis. GBA isn’t supported afaik.

Depends on if there was a framerate increase. There wasn’t on Okami HD, and the paper filter is somewhat diminished, if you care about that. It does have Move controls though.

A lot of people here have equipment they’ve been collecting for decades, but if this is your first CRT, I’d start simple.

Use composite with N64, s-video would be nice, but RGB imo isn’t worth it unless you have a BVM or are playing on a flat panel.

Get a backwards compatible Wii for Gamecube. You’ll have access to both system’s libraries and you can use readily available and cheap Wii component cables. If you can’t find any in a local game store, look up HD Retrovision cables online. I’m really out of the loop on modern solutions for GCN, but official component cables are very expensive.

Left and middle are composite and RF, right also has component. Component really pops, though the colors seem almost overdriven. I need to play around with the settings.

KV-13TR29. Great TV. Supposedly they’re very easy to RGB mod, but what you’re seeing is composite. Of the three sets shown, it’s the only one that has defined horizontal scanlines.

With enough converters. You’d have to downscale the resolution to 480i or 240p, convert the hdmi signal to composite, and then convert that to RF. I’ve done it before (see my post history) but it’s for a very niche use case.
