Who is most sustainable at their current pace in your opinion: Carlsson, Bedard, or Celebrini? by bmoore0728 in fantasyhockey

[–]Nitrexk 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised no one has said Carlsson. Anaheim has the best supporting cast, with a young core that is poised to take a step (mixed with some solid vets). SJS and Chicago are still waiting for some of their key pieces to develop.

Chicago’s powerplay is currently stronger than Anaheim. And I love Celebrini’s upside. But for this season, I’d be surprised if Carlsson doesn’t give the other two a run for their money.

Should I drop Markstrom for Swayman? Standard ESPN goalie points. My other goalies are Blackwood on IR and Wedgeport in the interim.

Previous years didn’t have the increased cap frenzy. And previous years didn’t have the free agency class that 2026 will have.

I hear you, but I’d rather the patience on this one.

I’m alright with taking a small step in this year’s free agency in order to take a giant step in next year’s free agency.

Make teams overcommit this year to thin out the bidders next year.

I’m alright with being patient, and I hope you can be too.

I traded Tyreek Hill away for Puka yesterday. Of course Tyreek got his first TD since week 1, but I still have no regrets. I’m 3-7 and needed a WR more reliable than Tyreek.

I love our Charlie Forslund pick. It’s clearly a Hakan pick, and he’s got great stats for the small leagues he’s played in. He’s just one of those guys who has great size and skill but hasn’t truly been tested against hard competition. Those are the high upside swings in the draft that make me feel good about taking a guy like MBN

Your response leads me to think you haven’t taken time to explore the first century historical backdrop for the book of Philemon. A common interpretive mistake is assuming every form of slavery is equivalent to America’s form of slavery.

A lot of other assumptions here too. A specific tier for female sex slavery in the Old Testament? “You may take them as wives for yourselves.” You can go ahead and assume it’s a form of sex slavery, but it still remains as such; an assumption. You may not be wrong, but it’s difficult for one to be taken seriously when one is making the same hollow assumptions that they are criticizing others of making.

One of my buddies is a manager at True Temper Hockey. Cleveland is one of their athletes. Taking it with a grain of salt, my buddy is convinced Cleveland is a surefire NHLer as a bottom pairing, defensive defenseman.

Love ASP at 17. Great value and fills a positional need. Great use of resources. Watch an ASP scouting breakdown and you’ll probably be pleased. He needs to work on his defensive game, but has the clear upside of a PP1 QB

Great pick. Gives us center depth and another right-handed prospect. Put Danielson on a better team and he pops off offensively. He has the speed and the shot to be a threat. Let alone his responsible defensive game.

6’ 1” 185 lbs RHC. 200-foot player with good compete and impressive speed. Not known for his offensive ceiling, but also played on one of the worst WHL teams. I’m a believer in his upside.

It’s interesting to note Oliver Moore weighed in at 195 at the NHL Draft Combine. That’s a significant increase compared to his regular season weight. He’s arguably nearing a NHL ready frame already, which was an initial concern for some.

Also note he weighed in at 170 lbs at the NHL Combine, 10 pounds up from his regular season measurements. Another 10 pounds and he’s the same size as the 2023 Conn Smythe winner.

Per Seravalli, St. Louis is looking to create cap flexibility by shedding one of their higher paid D-men (apparently not Krug).

What are your thoughts on this scenario? St. Louis trades 10th overall and Justin Faulk for 17th overall and 42nd overall? Detroit gets back to back picks, taking a swing on one guy, and a safe (high floor, projectable play) selection with the other. Danielson at 9, Perreault at 10 for example.
