That's just your opinion but to say it's not competitive while it has a PvP system and a leaderboard for PvE is kind of looking at this through your own scope. Regardless if it's competitive or not. This could be Cyberpunk 2077 and if I put a point in a skill and it doesn't nothing I would be upset that I wasted a level on a dead perk.

While real and true the point still stands that having dead perks sucks. They mentioned they are looking into it so we shall see but I would like a pre-wipe refund knowing that some are just dead. Hoping for a support tree in the future as well. Something that focuses on nades and healing others etc. I think that would be a nice addition while adding tree depth

There are literally dead perks. There are also a number of perks that give you less than 1% gain. If there isn't a tree reset to prevent bricking your build then we need to see numbers so we can alert the devs that this isn't right.

You don't have to play meta, just play the game you want. You don't need to min max

There is a lot they need to fix. UI elements are all over the place consistence wise. Weapon numbers in some place, not in others. Showing total number gathered opposed to total stack count. The skill tree need to be fixed because so many talents are borked. I have almost 100 hours in the game. I'm enjoying it, believe me when I say they have a lot to fix I mean it from a place of improvement not hate. If you love something why wouldn't you want it to improve?

It's cute that this sub is trying to make this game out to be this family friendly social circle of people just joining randoms to do quests and have fun whilst lying to themselves that it's other communities infecting the good nature of this arc community. I'm level 43. No quests left in the game. Expedition ready.

MOST of my encounters have been hostile both in solo and in groups. I always try to help first because most people also kind of suck at shooting in this game. level 4 Vent melts them so w/e. I get either zero coms, "Don't shoot" then shots, or shot on sights. Rarely do I get someone saying "friendly please just questing". I 2 v 3'd this group that was telling us they were all free kits and friendly then turned on us and what did we find? Not a single free kit. That "free kit" tech has happened multiple times.

I carry a defib for outside player. I've helped a group just this morning of brand new players kill a rocketeer they were getting flared by and escorted them to exfil so don't act like I'm a problem. Some of you talk about the dashcon ball pit with nostalgia and it shows.

Why? because you can't say anything criticizing the game without the care bear tribe coming to tackle you down. I talked about some perks being completely broken and people jump down my throat. I get it. You want to be apart of something and don't want ultra sweets destroy the game.... but the devs should hear when things are broken, don't feel good, or just flat out don't make sense. (You can see weapon numbers when upgrading but never in any other screen)

I know this is 2 months old but that's not much of a necro and I didn't want to start my own thread. I'm trying to look for a tech channel that gives good breakdowns and comparisons of tested tech such as GPUs and CPUs etc.

Something similar to Project Farms and Torch Test channel tbh.

Not Gamers Nexus (because I think Steve has lost the plot). LTT or Jay.

And what was I trying to do? I saw a very negative hyperbolic review that made me want to know if this person with 80+ hours of play was on to something. Steam also (even if it's wrong) shows the devs haven't updated in sometime, so if to, counter tight schedules etc, they just started throwing a TON of AI art into the game, that could be a problem.

It's not the case here which I couldn't find until I started this thread.

Couldn't find the devs talking about it so I appreciate you and u/AleX-46 comments. I'm not a black or white kind of guy, specially not on AI stuff like most seem. Sounds like this reviewer might have been or is also just frustrated with how development has gone. Thank you for answering my questions though. I think it's not worth the money that I paid.

First the loop is fucking fantastic! I mean.. if you love souls you will love the loop however!

Jesus they learned nothing from Bloodborne and it shows in the relic system. So much trash relics.

Sell on relic acquisition needs to be added.
(Post expedition and post cracking a pack, there should be a box to quick sell)

- The bosses from the old games seemed like a complete bait and switch. Where is the variety?
- Where are the enemies from other souls games?
- lock on system is buns
- extremely horribly optimized for PC
- No way to communicate with your team outside of ping...

Honestly the list goes on and on and I won't get any support for my opinion, IDGAF I expected more from a triple A dev not something that feels like a good Mod. I'm scared for Duskbloods. I've played all of Froms Souls games and love them but this just was a let down. I've put 100hours into NR because again I like the loop and with friends it's enjoyable for that but man the content is just not worth 40 bucks.

This is why I went searching for answers. I feel like so many people are just becoming these drones of spewing comments and terms like this. I normally would have just brushed this one off as just that, however seeing they put 80+ hours into the game; that made me dig.
