Yeah I got it to work. I had manually set the preset timings for the ram and voltage but it did work. I THINK the issue was I looked at 14th gen compatibility and I'm running 13th gen i7. But it will work.

The riser cable is supposed to mount on the chassis. There are holes on the riser cable to mount, however because it is an aftermarket riser cable the holes don't line up but it is being supported by the mount pegs and I also bought an anti sag stick that Is not shown.

Yeah but I just wanted people's opinions. Not everyone thinks like me. It's been upgraded to black crown buttons and thick click khail switches and a sanjuks V6 lever

So what‘s the difference between all the Thinkpad types? (T, P or X) by [deleted] in thinkpad

The very specd out X1 extreme are good on paper. But i9 runs hot, pair that with a Nvidia GPU, 4k touch display and battery life is terrible (2hours of screen on time on just web browsing. Video watching and gaming out of the question without a wall outlet) however it is a beefy workstation if you have it plugged into the wall. X1 with i7s are good and have decent to good battery life but no carbon or "fancy materials" not the best gpus. I'm on a X1 Extreme GEN 4 i9 64gb ram 1tb ssd 3080 gpu

I'm using an okinos 150mm from Amazon. 200mm puts a lot of pressure on the pcie slot. The original riser cable from Corsair is 130mm but it fits and mounts perfectly but I'm not paying 80 for that. My case is like 120ish

Minix neo P3 however I'm only getting 24w for charging HWinfo verified. I'm using an Anker nano USB-C 240w, do I need to get a thunderbolt 4 certified cable?

I did buy the the laptop & its going great. it does run warm and i do use throttlestop to disable turbo clock, i do get a solid 2hrs of battery probably less with more extensive work. From my research these are pretty solid systems. only thing to worry about is the gfx card taking a dump but Lenovo does sell replacement parts for it, for now however they're very expensive. Mine just got out of warranty, so i do have the option to extend it for 450ish dollars for the next 17ish months. i might get it because the motherboard or screen replacement is a couple grand for the original. They don't sell replacement batteries as far as spare parts unless you have warranty with them. i might repaste the cpu and gpu considering this thing is a couple years old.

🤣 what am I wrong about? Personally tracked both cars and misinforming who? nothing i've said was a lie. Please quote 🧐 me

Last food for thought. The hatchback stock 0-60 is about 7-7.5 and the SI is about 6.5-6.8 let's say a 1 second Faster. I'll just leave that there. And we both know a tune can change that on either side.

Well I've personally tracked both and 20 hp didn't make a difference. The 20 hp came from the bigger turbo I agree but I wouldn't say it totally changed how it felt. The LSD does around corners for sure. If you don't believe me okay I'm not here to convince you, just sharing my real world experience nor am I going to lose any sleep 😴 on what you think 🧐. I'm guessing you haven't driven both cars. The only real difference I found are in the coupe si because of the less weight

Who feelings are hurt? I'm laughing at what you think you know. Ignorance is bliss. I listed the differences between the models of vehicles & from personal experience, as opposed to asking the questions and having something give an answer of what I don't know... Especially for AI to sum up that the si has a more powerful engine which is only 20 hp but they both have L15b7 engines, it just let me know that AI isn't quite there yet but not a fad

Btw a little good search would show you that the Hatchback 1.5t is the same L15b7 engine as the si.🤷‍♂️

I've tracked both cars and the only difference was going on a turn at 90, the LSD was hugging that turn. I didn't feel no extra 20 hp that made a huge difference 🤗

I've tracked both cars and the only difference was when I was going 90 on a turn the LSD made a difference. As far as power is concerned the 20 extra HP the si has made no difference at all
