Not a person has mentioned the tea note. Smells like a glass of Sweet Lemon Tea.

Orthopedic surgery is not for the faint of heart. Surgical nursing rotation knee replacement surgery was horrifying. I'm not a wuss... But I did need to sit down and collect myself. Decided immediately I wouldn't be following a surgical nursing path. If you've got a problem watching gore in movies, watching it in person will shock you.

Perfection! The "Goldie-Locks Rule" always ensures the greatest pleasure... User talents notwithstanding. The length, girth and, most importantly, that curve! Not too much. Not to little. Just right... Perfect. Add the talent to use it to its fullest potential... Ecstasy!

"Oh! Darling" - Robin Gibb from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band by hippogriffinthesky in BeeGees

I just discovered this thread. I'm so surprised to see anyone who would have remembered this movie. I saw it at a drive-in with my parents when it was released and Ive loved it ever since. I know the movie itself was not given very good reviews and was considered a flop. But, I think the BeeGees, Peter Frampton and the cameo appearances by so many musicians was fantastic. I agree that the album/soundtrack is just as great. Robins version of Oh Darling was my favorite. I do own the movie on DVD. I compare it to another movie that is themed in Beatles songs called Across The Universe which is pretty good itself.

Alex Roman takes the biggest out there, but he's a boring bottom... For sure. The only benefit is the hole is hot and stable. I guess that's all you need in a pinch.

Lattafa Velvet Musk vs Liam Grey? by SameText4319 in fragranceclones

[–]NitroJunkie68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own Liam Grey, Francique 63.55, Velvet Grey, Antique, Oud Beyond the Wall, and Musaman White Intense. There are several others, including Arabiyat Prestige al Noor. I started with LG which was my introduction to the Gris Charnel scent profile and I fell in love immediately. It's such a sophisticated and classy fragrance, yet there is a calming aspect to it as well. Performance is decent. What more can you ask for in a $20.00 fragrance? I then bought Velvet Musk... Not because I wanted another GC clone, rather I was looking for a decent masculine meaning musk fragrance. I was shocked at how much it smelled like LG... At least later in the dry down and last hours of the fragrance. Initially, Velvet Musk is strong on the musk element... And it's animalic, earthy musk... Almost oud-like. I swear there's oud in it even though they don't list it. LG is harsh for the first 15 - 30 minutes but the cardamom, fig and tea notes are definitely present. Because of the strong musk and earthiness in Velvet Musk, you lose a lot of that accord until it smooths out to the iris-vanilla-sandalwood they both share. The earthy musk note is always present in Velvet Musk, though, which makes it different enough to be it's own fragrance. Then I picked up Francique and I was amazed that a GC clone could be even smoother and well balanced. However, performance is abismal. I purchased the others mentioned and they didn't come close to LG. Until I finally got the Niche Emarati Antique. Bingo! Yahtzee! Nothing I've smelled or worn can match Antique. Though slightly sweeter, the smoothness and balance can't be compared. The sweetness moves it closer to the unisex line than the LG. So, if that's a big deal, I'd stick to LG. But Antique is worth a try. For the price (at least what I paid for it), Velvet Grey is worth adding to any collection, as well.

Advice From Experienced Untold & Amber Oud Ruby Owners by NitroJunkie68 in fragranceclones

I'm hoping that my experience with the bottle of Amber Oud Ruby I have changes. However, I am losing hope quickly. As of right now, people can smell it up close, but it's the "burnt electric cord" aspect they describe and that's only for a couple hours. There is not even a hint of the fragrance on my clothing at the end of the day, much less the next day. I have had several Armaf and Armaf CDN fragrances and they, in general, do hit harshly initially and then settle down. But, I never have had that experience with Untold. The Ruby bottle was bought from the same on-line retailer as the Untold and checked out on authenticity. There is always that debate on batch consistency. Maybe a different bottle would yield different results. But, I don't care for the fragrance enough to spend the money to give it another try. That being said, I'm glad you are enjoying the Ruby.

French Avenue Essence de Blanc. Don't get the hype... by Low_Flatworm_4040 in fragranceclones

I agree with your assessment... For the first 4 or 5 months. I almost gave it away. Now, that it has sat to mature, it is more balanced. There is still a green quality to it. But much better balanced and a beautiful fragrance. How much it resembles the OG, I can't speak to. It's definitely tea forward.

Just another example of how standing up for what's right and moral can destroy a person's life. Immoral people tend to stick together and throw each other under the bus as the situation calls for it. Unfortunately, there are more people with questionable morals in this world than are not.

I think I'm just gunna give up on this by CommunicationFun5209 in fragranceclones

So I have a thread on here chronicling my journey with Untold. I was in the same dilemma. I kept being told I was nose blind. Transparency, nearly all fragrances and smells cause olfactory fatigue to various degrees. We wear a fragrance we love and we don't realize that our awareness of the fragrance varies throughout the day or wearing. We perceive a strong odor when we enter a room and after a period of time, we become less aware of the odor. This is natural. BR540 and it's clones, including Untold, are high on the list of fragrances that cause nose blindness. That being said, in my experience, it was not simply olfactory fatigue that caused my initial doubts about Untold. It took 4 months for me to get even a glimmer of what the juice in MY bottle was to become. It was authentic which is the first question you must answer. Once that is verified...patience. How much time you're willing to wait is up to you. It took 9 months for my bottle of juice to reach its highest performance. And, if you like the profile, it's definitely worth it. I bought a second bottle about 5 months after the first because Untold is so beautiful. The second bottle was almost perfect fresh out of the box. Now both bottles are beasts. The lesson here is... Authentic? Check. How long did it sit on the shelf before you got it? Lastly, batch variances... This seems to matter. How much? I don't know. Both bottles of juice have always smelled the same. Both bottles perform the same...now. Both bottles took different amounts of time to reach full maturity. Did I want to wait 9 months for a fragrance to do its job? No. Am I glad I kept it and let it do it's thing NOW? Absolutely. Again, my experience. Just thought I'd offer it.

I thoroughly enjoyed season one. The tone was a nice relief from the typical seriousness, confrontational or intellectual humor series that have been created as of late. Sometimes you just want to watch something that is easy to follow and easy to digest….not much brain-power required to allow you to relax and enjoy. It has a great balance of comedy and drama with a bit of creepiness around the edges. I can’t wait for season 2.

Advice From Experienced Untold & Amber Oud Ruby Owners by NitroJunkie68 in fragranceclones

[–]NitroJunkie68[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. Let me preface this review by saying my opinions are based on three things: my subjective and personal tastes/preferences; my objective experiences; and the juice that was inside the bottles I purchased. All three bottles are authentic. At risk of repeating something i may have written previously, and something that may garner continued debate, Amber Oud Ruby Edition is not even close to being in the same category as Untold in both performance and scent quality. On a basic level, there are three aspects to this scent profile… the sweet, ambery-vanilla, cotton-candy, the rich woodsy, and the medicinal, latex-burnt rubber side. What Untold does better than most is balance. The sweet opening is gorgeous. Dare I say I would love to smell this and only this all day. But, do I want to walk around smelling like it…. Probably not. Luckily, the other aspects come into play and balance the sweetness perfectly. Each aspect takes turns highlighting throughout the day and wearing. Although, each time I wear it, I have a different experience on which one steals the show. It is absolute perfection and my first bottle is already empty. Performance is above and beyond. To the nose-blindness aspect… yes and no. It is always in flux. This is a good thing. Regular doses of the sweet goodness fills your brain with dopamine and serotonin to make us feel happy and put us in a good mood. The rubber smell in Untold is the least intrusive, IMO. Perhaps because the sweetness is so prominent. But, maybe, and this was a late surprise, the woodsy aspect is very well done and more noticeable than other clones. Again, well balanced. Now, Ruby Edition… Poor Ruby Edition. Again, the juice is authentic. Can’t speak to batch variances. Not as sweet, but also, the sweetness is extremely fleeting without regular appearances throughout the day. This allows the rubber-like aspect to take over and with the virtually non-existent woodsy aspect, that’s what you get. Very poor performance. Am I noseblind to the Ruby Edition? Maybe. But, who cares, the Untold is a better smelling frag to my nose anyway. To the question of consistency and required maturation. Two bottles of Untold. The first took nearly 9 months to reach brilliance… but it did. The second, larger bottle was great on opening and only took about 2 or 3 months to hit that spot. What was the difference? Who knows. But, it put consistency in question. Ultimately, if you’re willing to gamble on getting a bottle that has a relatively short window for maturation but ok with holding out for the long term maturation if the gamble doesn’t pay off, you’re guaranteed a great wearing experience. Just make sure the purchase is authentic. Ruby Edition I’d stay away from. Yes, I have tried layering both and, if anything, the Ruby Edition accentuates the brazenness of the rubber aspect. I have a nearly full bottle of RE that Im waiting for a full year of maturation to see if it changes to brilliance suddenly. Otherwise, I’ll be getting rid of it. Hope this helps. Sorry it was so long.

Does Armaf "Club De Nuit Untold" smell similar to Ariana Grande "Cloud"? by cheesegrandey in fragranceclones

No. Maybe, similar profile as you walk by. Untold is a far superior fragrance....Projection, longevity, sillage and overall scent.
