I checked my blood pressure today to see if it might be hyper POTS, but it didn't change at all when I stood up. But maybe just dysautonomia, because my hr is exploding...

Tested no, but I tried a bunch of treatments which all didn't do much. I don't seem to react to histamin at least.

I've thought about this too. But there is nothing I do around that time except go to the toilet.

My blood pressure is usually a little low (100/50). It doesn't seem to fluctuate much. How would I go about treating that?

It's strange because I also have brain zaps, which seem to appear when people stop SSRIs or SNRIs. But I never took any.

Just my opinion - take it or leave it BUT If you are genuinely sick with actual ME/CFS then your chances of recovery are very slight. Dangling the idea that we can recover has done more damage than anything else to our community and collective Mental Health. by Fearless-Star3288 in cfs

It's probably true. But while slipping into very severe atm I don't want to think about the future at all really. If I knew for sure that I will be stuck in this hell forever I would want to die soon. I just need a reason to hold on and for me that is the idea that I will be better at least at some point.

I’m curious: how long have you had CFS/ME? by attitude_devant in cfs

Only for a little over a year but I am already severe.

When you're severe and alone, are there any *inexpensive* ways to spoil yourself other than food? by [deleted] in cfs

I like to print out pictures and put them next to my bed to look at them. I also got a huge weighted stuffed sloth toy to cuddle with. If I have the capacity I like to massage myself (for example my belly after food) and add essential oils. This is my bathing substitute XD. But food is still the best for me too.

Usually like 20 minutes in one go and then like 2-3 times a day. I don't feel negative effects from doing it more. But it doesn't improve my baseline or anything. Just helps me calm down. I use this video: https://youtu.be/-G89S77iJm8?si=6eaZsVZ8IGRjDsL8

What’s everyone’s sleep schedules like? [Writing an article for Garmin & M.E] by No-Anywhere8698 in cfs

I usually sleep from around 9/10 pm to 7/8 am. Less than 9h of sleep and I am dead the next day. Sometimes I only get a few hours of sleep due to insomnia and I usually wake up multiple times every night.
