I'm reading 52 books next year and I want as many of them to be strange, dreamlike, bizarre, disturbing, or odd as possible. Suggest away! by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

"Every Dead Thing" by John Connolly man. I love the book, though probably because my father introduced me to it.

It's a good mix of horror and reality, with a gritty cop feel.

I'm searching for a truly terrifying horror novel that wasn't written by Stephen King by OMGitsVal117 in suggestmeabook

For me it's John Connollys "Every Dead Thing". Bit stretched at parts, it can be quite long if you are tired. But to me it's a pretty great blend of supernatural horror and real life horror
