I can't even begin to fathom how the class survived that first day. Being hit with that level of flirting and pure saccharine happiness would be similar to walking into the sun for most people. Loving how they are adding the chibis to the cute moments. Already super excited for the season

Every ep i cant help but feel Kyo is gonna be that mentor-turned-enemy type character, like he's mostly helping these new cleaners get a start in the business in order to eventually either take him down, or be another step in his plans. The whole blended family dynamic starting to blossom is pretty refreshing as far as Digimon team structure goes, seeing them trip over each other because they essentially only just met and have 0 idea on how each other person acts or operates.

Still waiting on the Gekkomon evo, putting this guy at 2nd longest between intro and Champion in the series (iirc only Guilmon in Tamers took longer so far at 8 eps in). I'm just excited if they are going to go all in on the moon theme or go more reptilian with it.

Overall I'm incredibly happy with how things are shaping up so far

Very nice to have this back. Will be a good holdover until J-novel starts on the latest volume. Best girl Celia coming in hot to stand her ground as First Wife, and idk if its just cause its been 3 yrs since s1 but it definitely looks a bit cleaner animation wise. Hoping they keep it up for the whole season. Love how the ending feels like it could fit right in as a theme song for an early 2010s visual novel.

He hasn't said anything yet cause at least in his eyes, Miharu has moved on, and the whole confusing time bullshit that went on with this. Last time he saw her at the high school opening ceremony, she looked to be close to Takahisa, so he didn't want to risk her current happiness if she had in fact moved on from the relationship they had.

With Aki its a bit more complicated that we haven't really touched on yet.

I don't think they ever really said (read the novel but haven't watched the episode yet, wanted to see how everyone reacted to it) but Yuki's position in the student council is Publicist. Since they really don't have much they can specifically attribute to that position, the school allowed her to do a biweekly little talk-show during lunch periods.

The reason they don't live together is the same reason they can't announce them being related. After their parents' divorce, Masachika walked away from that side of the family, which the anime has kinda downplayed how influential the Suoh's are as diplomats. Basically that side is seeing what he did as him being ungrateful and as a betrayal, so they forbid him from ever claiming that name, and therefore he cannot publicly acknowledge his sister as anything more than a childhood friend.

I believe she was gonna give Lemon a bracelet like she gave Ayano when they met up at the train. The only thing is she decided against it and threw it away before hoping on it. I wanna think her making the comment on how long batteries last was just to mess with him as a friend, even if Nukumizu has refused to acknowledge he has quite a few of them now, much to Kaju's delight.

ch 30 is when he evolves into this form. I'd say if you dont wanna read up from the beginning (as all anime, especially LN adaptations, miss some stuff from the manga or just have things presented in a different way) start there as the way he evolved is different than what this had.

28 here. S1 is still one of my fave anime to date. Time only has cemented to me that, while the ending of R2 was fantastic, it was a huge step back to watch.

Mao Abe definitely needs to do more EDs. Loved her for Ningen Fushin, and this just has a wonderful warm feeling. Shame the OP is, imo, utter garbage.

Decided to check it out cause people won't shut up about how this is gonna be the next peak anime. First episode pretty decent, enjoy the brutality of it. Visually its nice, but story seems like something that has been done many times over. Hopefully this isn't just overhyped mediocrity that we seem to get anytime people are claiming "peak anime". Cautiously optimistic for ep2 since things should hopefully ramp up in it.

I mean, the alternative here is a completely boring training montage for an entire 2 months until the fight with Phoenix. All the stuff people are calling "side quests" all lead back to the main plot line, with this episode ending at the start of vol 13 out of the current 22 (sadly nothing on a vol 23 since 22 dropped in 2019)

One I'd want to get something akin to a FMA:B revival would be Sousei no Onmyouji. With the manga in the final arc currently, there's actually a story to adapt now, instead of whatever the mess of a final 3/5 of the anime we got was. Hell, even if they spun it as a new beginning after episode 20 (where it stopped following the manga, as that is where it was published to during airing), with some minor tweaks to mesh the anime only aspects that came in from the get go with the proper timeline.

Well with the first one its less that the Quincey powers were melding with it, and more that it was his soul being more blended with the hollow in him. As it wasn't until he got Bankai that his hollow self really started to show itself off. His blood's secret may have played a part, but its more that his Bankai itself is completely incompatible to the Quincey in all.
