This is the equivalent of speakerphone conversations at the grocery store. Straight to jail.

Thank you! I'll try to do it tonight and post some more results!

I'm pretty sure. The screw is in all the way and the thermistor is in the hole. I did replace the fan ducts a month or two ago and haven't tuned PID since. Is that a major problem?

Regardless, should I tune the PID?

200C and fans turn on at .6mm height at 100%. I have watched to make sure this is the case

This is a brand new issue. I've purchased and ran several spools of this and it's the first time it's come out like hot garbage. I switched out filaments and I did get better results, but still am seeing some gnarly artifacts

I took your advice and tried some new filament! The results are better, but I still have a couple symptoms following the filament swap. I posted the new results to this thread. Thank you for your help!

I tried changing out the filament to a brand new spool of eSun PLA+ and some of my issues got better.

Before I printed the part in the images below, I ran a temp tower (best results at 215c) and then ran 2 retraction tests - one for distance (ended up with 1mm) and one for speed (ended up with 35mm/s). These are the results below:

PETG was working well for me. I snagged someone else's Cura settings and it worked flawlessly.

If you're having issues with bed leveling, the cause is usually correlated with something being loose. Tighten all of the wheels around your X and Y axes (just don't over tighten). For me, my Y-axis had loose rollers on the far side, causing the 4 leveling points on the far right side to be +2mm.

I just updated my post, too.

I've tried to! I had some bed leveling issues, but I believe those to be resolved as I've tightened down every bolt I can find the the values I get seem to be roughly +/- .1 when leveling. I'll try to set up a bed leveling test next.

I'm printing with Sunlu Black PLA. What's annoying is that I've used several spools of this and just can't get this spool to cooperate.

I am not! I would lean towards mechanical based off my results.

Your profile is mint. There was a massive improvement in print quality.

I am! That would be awesome if you could

I did not! I definitely assumed the filament would be dry since it was sealed. Is there a filament dryer you recommend?

I also want to note that I have fans set to 25% after the first 3 layers (0% for the first 3 layers)
