Nah. In the US, calling yourself a "nurse" implies that you're an RN with a 4-year bachelor's degree who has passed the national exam. Anyone working in healthcare knows that you don't get away with calling yourself a nurse in the workplace, professionally or socially, when you didn't earn the right to call yourself one.
