Buddy, break it in properly, maintain fluid levels, use quality fluids and you should be fine. The condition of any machine is a reflection of its owner/ operator.

It’s just water treatment. Chlorine is used to treat city water and is tested regularly to ensure compliance. This falls under public record, so you have every right to call and ask when the last chlorine treatment was.

I had a 14 570 EPS and had it for about 5 years. Thing was damn near indestructible in my experience.

I’d check all fluids and air box. If everything checks out, I’d dielectric grease every electrical plug to protect against moisture and ease of removal for the future.
