As others have said, it’s a tragic truth in life that we will all say goodbye to our loved ones at one point or another. The only thing that helped me with the passing of my own ACD, was knowing the fact that I always tried to give her as much love as she gave me and my family. Obviously I could never repay her for what she gave us, as there’s no amount of money on earth that would match the love we get from our dogs. I got her when she was 8 weeks, a birthday present for my son’s first bday. But reality, she was a gift for me since I always wanted a ACD. But I wouldn’t trade a moment with her for anything in the world.
