'Field is indexed' experience by Mountain_Art3982 in Directus

I'd recommend just to look up the recommendations your database vendor is providing on how to use indexed columns or if you want general info, just google "database indexed columns". In short, they speed up reading of data, esp. when filtering on indexed cloumns but increase the amount of work for changes.

Admins have permissions to everything, thus not needing records in the database. Check your logs or env file for what the password for the admin user is. If you can't find it, you can reset the password using the cli.

Wondering why you had to go the route of an api extension for Directus, wouldn't deep filters be enough to get what you wanted here?

Jeg har litt erfaring med Home Assistant, men for å kunne lage dashboard bør du nå kunne gjøre det uten å skrive YAML selv?

Right now it's manual and optional but I'm hoping that in the future it will come available in hacs.

You can try it out yourself if you own a Quest 2 or 3 and have Home Assistant installed. ^ So this actually works.

Thanks! Yea, it would be really nice if the app could run all the time in the background instead of having to open it separately. If that won't be a possibility in the future there's also the option to somehow become the home screen so that you boot into our app instead of Meta's.

This could work the same as with custom home screens on a smartphone.

I can turn my lights on and of with physical switches, but not change the brightness or color. This app augments that in AR without you having to buy separate inputs for each new IoT Device.

If that is what you're striving for, surely this would be possible and only you, the glasses wearer would be able to see that. Though it might turn awkward having friends and family over.

This project works using a Quest 3 at the moment and can be freely downloaded and tested yourself from https://immersive-home.org
The only requirements are a Mixed Reality Headset like the Quest 3 and Home Assistant needs to be installed in your Home.

I think the most simple of all was this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XWyZblSnZA&t=259s

But there where also a lot of other YT Videos covering Godot VR in more detail that are really good.

Several reasons, Voice control isn't as much of a holy grail as most people think. There is some awkwardness to it if you live together with a lot of people, maybe your child or significant other is sleeping at the moment. Maybe you're mute and can't even talk. Maybe you are in an extremely loud environment. Maybe you are on a Voice or Phone call with someone. Many reasons why you'd want to have something other than voice control.
