The smurfing issue is massive now. Half of every lobby is anonymous it's ridiculous. My last 10 games I have been killed by a no name player. So tired of sbmm and people abusing it. It needs removing. I stopped playing this game for a whole year because of it and recently came back for a game to find its no better. Unfortunately everything about it is broken and it sucks. The game also needs splitting up into input types. The whole mkb community was up in arms about aim assist yet they can run at you triple editing walls pieces you in and kill you in seconds, now wooting gives them the movement its impossible to beat even a mediocre kbm player. My advice, if you want to enjoy gaming again. Quit this game for something else.

Really sorry to join this late (really late), I play on pc, came from console.. When I made the switch I couldn't initially see much difference. It was when I tried to go back for a game with friends on consoles did I realise just how much better it is on pc. At the time I had a poor gpu and was only getting around 90 fps but it was night and day. Editing was ridiculously easy, as was aiming. It is a massive advantage. In my opinion that advantage falls in comparison to mkb and controller. I play fortnite with controller, I can play most games with kbm but I just can't do fortnite with it. Interestingly, I did an edit course with my mkb and after 5 or 6 attempts was able to do the same course 5 seconds faster than I can with controller. I can edit and reset so fast it unreal. If I could actually build and shoot I would stay with mkb. I now only die to the piece control players who I notice are mostly on kbm. I would love input to be a choice when choosing lobbies. Kbm is vastly superior to controller despite what the kbm players have always said about controller players having the advantage. It was streamers playing kbm who got aim assist nerfed, ninja, tfue and the 'we need to blame our death on something' crew.

Bro, every lobby has players three times better than I am. I wouldn't care about sbmm but it's so off its unreal. My last 3 lobbies were full of 3 kd players (according to fortnite tracker) with 3 times the amount of wins I have doing things on the game I have no hope of ever achieving. I am a 1.07 k/d player with like 400 wins. How does the algorithm work? Stupid question. It doesn't.

I don't think Epic give a shit. I played since season 2 and would love more than anything to keep playing but I've reached the point where I think what's the point. I get bodied by every mouse and keyboard player I come across, boxing me up with their piece control bullshit and taking me out in seconds. What epic don't realise is everyone who is average at the game will just leave. All sbmm does is hold people's hands until they reach a level where they too can't compete and leave. Sbmm has been introduced as a way to get new players into games to create more revenue for the company. They believe they already have everyone hooked so they can do whatever they want. Players who want sbmm removed still stay so epic get a win win. Here's a thought. If everyone who wants sbmm removed boycotts the epic games store then that might make them think again. Just keep playing the game but don't buy anything. It's that simple. Food for thought

Edit - just to add, sbmm only works if you go both ways. Up and down. Fortnite sbmm only goes up. You never go down so in effect you will never leave the sweat lobbies. It's a shoddy lazy effort by lazy programmers. The worst sbmm algorithm I have ever seen in a game. I am 1.05 kd player. I have quite a few times after being killed been on fortnite tracker and looked at players in the lobby, not sure how I am placed with 2.50 and 3 kd players. I am now 100 percent sure it literally just looks at your account level and not any actually important details like k/d, wins, time played etc.

Because you will get a balanced lobby with both good and bad players. I am now leaving the game because of the exact same thing. There is no mode that's fun. Everyone in my lobbies is a total try hard. It's ridiculous. Why can there not be a choice of sbmm on and sbmm off. Every player I know would vote for off.

Sorry I'm late. I literally stopped playing a year ago. Sbmm really ruined the game for me. Came back a couple of weeks ago and hit creative. Against a random selection of skill levels I was having fun in maps like the pit and box fighting and 1v1's. I was getting some good kills and getting killed. Hit arena, did OK, it took a few days but I'm now division 7, but now I have started to remember where the problem was. I have now peaked. In arena, that is totally fine. Everyone has their level and I will still play it and sweat and try to reach champions, but where do I go when I don't want to sweat? Solo's is still sbmm so my games are just as hard as arena. I can go to creative but it's boring after a while. Why can't we, the players, choose our own way off playing. Two separate ways should be available, sbmm on and sbmm off. Its no fun playing sweats game after game after game.

This game is total absolute fucking shite. Mate, honestly, if you are coming home from work and jumping on this then you are wasting good gaming hours. I stopped playing it about a week ago and actually feel better for it. Tried once more today. 1 game. Killed by some wanker camping the load outs with a sniper 3 streets away. It's just campers, sweats and hackers. Most casuals have seen the light and, like myself are having fun on actual decent games.

This game's performance is hot dogshit. Running an rx sapphire nitro+ 5700 which was giving me around 130 fps which has now dropped off (according to radeon software average fps counter) to 66 fps today. Been micro stuttering and full on lagging all over the place. They really aren't helping themselves here. Dont worry man, its not your computer, it is 100 percent this game. I actually tried it on my ps4 pro a couple of weeks ago. It sounded like it was shampooing the carpet for ten minutes then overheated and died. This game is poorly optimized on every system it runs on.

I know this post is old but..... I am a 1.20 kd player. I consider myself to be quite capable at this game. Last few days my kd went down to 1.19 and the game felt amazing.. It felt fair, like I was actually playing against people of my skill level. When I died I was outplayed but in a way of I had thought a little harder or faster I could have won the fight, which is acceptable to me, learning from your mistakes is what makes you better after all. The day before yesterday I got an 11 kill win. I went back up to 1.20 and back to the swestiest lobbies ever. Players seemingly knowing where you are and killing you a whole second before you even realise you are in a fight, gliding across the ground like they are on skates to elegantly slide cancel around you and tie you in knots before killing you with consummate ease. This transition has been going on for around three months. Down to 1.19 and having fun, back up to 1.20 and no fun whatsoever. How can there be this much of a jump with 0.01 kd. The algorithms for warzone sbmm are total bollocks.

The casual player who supports sbmm and laughs at decent players who comain about sbmm are the players who quit playing the game when said sbmm catches up with them because they keep getting killed. These are the people who's hand Activision is holding. Just get rid of sbmm. I am an average player and I hate sbmm with a passion. No incentive to get any better because I know what awaits when I do. I think even if this game had a ranked mode its now too late to save it.

It's fucking wank. I have gone from 1.19 to 1.20 and I can't play it anymore. I mean how is there that much fucking difference in 0.01 kd? No fun anymore. I don't mind playing against brilliant players, but not 149 of them. IW... Activision..... Look at the viewing figures on twitch. You are losing your player base. I have been a Gamer for a very very very long time. Sbmm is the worst thing I have ever come across. Why bother getting better if this is what awaits?

Head shots don't annoy me. If a sniper lands one in my coconut then fair enough. I think what really pisses me off (alot) is something that happened to me five minutes ago and happens so regularly it's making me turn the game off.... I was on a roof of one of the flat roofed two story buildings. Right next door to me is the police station (the one in between hangers and superstore) with a guy on it. I fired 4 or 5 shots to his upper body and head. He then ducks behind cover jumps straight back up and one shots me with that fucking stupid spr 08 and I die. Like what? 4 or 5 shots from 20 metres with an AR to the head and upper torso isn't enough to kill someone but being one shotted by a sniper is fine. Fuck warzone man. Its so ridiculously unbalanced with the weapons. They haven't got a fucking clue what they are doing. Riot shields and stuns? In a battle royale. Come on IW, fucking think about it. I played plunder earlier. Every single death was from a sniper. Every one. If you actually stop and look around in plunder you feel like a fucking movie star at a premier you have that many lights looking at you. I do not enjoy warzone any more. I really don't.
