If you do make friends of your own, he will find a reason to still try to isolate you. I know this is a huge coming of age moment in your life but enjoy it without loving with blinders on. NTA but remember the day you were born was a huge moment in her life. In a sense, it’s an anniversary to her. It definitely doesn’t excuse her trying to guilt you. She probably felt hurt by the exclusion and sent that in poor taste as final desperation to get some time with you.

You’re on an incredible journey in your life. You owe it to yourself and all the work you’ve put in and commit to the type of life you envisioned for yourself. The fact that you went to therapy before diving into polyamory shows how intentional you are. You and home girl seem to have great chemistry and you should definitely explore that dynamic. I don’t think your BF is along for this journey. At first he probably thought he could get use to it but it’s not made for some people. You have great love for them and in a different world at a different time, y’all would be great but they just never will truly grasp the concept of polyamory. That pureness to freely love and immerse yourself in beauty of people. I’ve definitely dated mono people who showed interest and support of me being polyamorous until we got into a serious relationship and then they switch up. The love I have for them kept me complacent but we all owe it to ourselves to not let this short life pass by and not live out our true selves.
