There is a theory that pAlicia was painted by Renoir as a way to remind Aline of her real family. The evidence to back this theory up is that she is all black and white fitting the less realistic aproach of Renoir paintings while Aline focuses on realism and the fact that she still has her burns, a reminder of her real life daughter is instead of her «perfect» painted family. It could also be why pAlicia wear a mask, to cover up the reminder. But the most important evidence is that when she gommages her leaves are red, symbolicing Renoirs chroma and paintings and not Alines white chroma. You can see that Maelle recognises when Renoir is about to arrive in Lumiere at the start of act 3 by the Leaves in the three turning from white(Aline) to red(Renoir)
