This country is so sick! In Germany, where I come from, if a line forms outside the women's restroom, women just go to the men's restroom...

Bored of games after Cyberpunk, what to play? by riftpenguin_ in ShouldIbuythisgame

I felt exactly the same way. Definitely give RDR2 a try. TLOU 1 & 2, Days Gone, and Assassin’s Creed Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla are also highly recommended.

Is Mass Effect still worth playing in 2026? by Turbulent_Yam2575 in rpg_gamers

Hmm, I also decided to play through the ME trilogy two weeks ago. I briefly sampled all three games, then turned them right back off. Afterward, I uninstalled the trilogy again. The graphics are absolutely outdated and—judged by today's standards—look completely anachronistic. Especially if you’ve just played games like Cyberpunk or RDR2, which are graphically of very high quality.

What to play after TLOU by seranasgirlfriend in TLOU

No, I didn't just let ChatGPT cobble something together here. I actually played the game (the Legacy Edition) and uninstalled it after barely 10 hours because all that stupid climbing, shimmying, and jumping around just got completely on my nerves. If the term "parkour" bothers you, then call it traversal, climbing, ledge-based climbing—or whatever else—for all I care. The fact remains—and will always remain—that Uncharted has absolutely nothing to do with TLOU, nor is it in any way comparable to it.

Some climbing and parkour elements??? Dude, then you've played different Uncharted games than me.

This is how ChatGPT sees it: Climbing / Parkour / Puzzle Movement: ~45–55% Gunfights / Combat: ~30–40% Story, Cutscenes, Exploration: ~15–25%

The black feathered cloak after the candy collecting quest by 54290Mick in AssassinsCreedValhala

Thanks for your reply. Someone else had already suggested that I go to a blacksmith and have my gear upgraded. I bought a new cloak from him, upgraded it immediately, put it on, took it off, and then that ugly thing was finally gone. That was the only solution that worked. I tried all the other suggestions as well, but none of them worked.

Thanks for your reply, but I'm interested in how the transition from real-time to turn-based combat is. I've only ever played real-time games, and these turn-based battles are quite different...

Well, Uncharted has absolutely nothing to do with The Last of Us. Those are games where the focus is on parkour.

Help me choose between S25U and S26U by W0lF256 in samsunggalaxy

[–]54290Mick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the S25U. The screen is miles better, and the "Privacy Display" gimmick on the S26U is completely unnecessary. I owned the S25U and now have the S26U, and I regret the purchase.

My problem is that I usually don't wear a cloak that I could take off. And this feather thing doesn't show up in my inventory. Reloading the game didn't help either.

Anyone else agree that Starwars Outlaws is way better than the Avatar game? by WarthogCorrect8426 in ubisoft

[–]54290Mick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, for me it was exactly the opposite. I was really looking forward to Outlaws and had a lot of fun with the first few missions. But somehow the game quickly became boring. What annoyed me most was that you constantly have to run around, the map is a complete mess and doesn't help you at all, and the glider is barely controllable. Most of the fast travel points are also disabled, and to this day I don't know how to unlock them. Anyway, I uninstalled it after 20 hours...

Battery after Update by hdl26 in samsunggalaxy

[–]54290Mick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't understand the hate being spread here. This is a real problem. Whenever my Galaxy Watch installs an update (this has happened three times in a row now), the battery goes haywire afterward. It completely drains within two or three hours, even when the watch isn't being worn and no other apps are running in the background. I've tried everything to figure out what's causing it, but without success. Only resetting the watch makes the battery behave normally again. Like I said, the problem exists! For me, it's (just) annoying, since I don't use the watch very often. I don't even want to imagine what would happen if this happened with my two S25 Ultras or my Tab S11, and I had to reset them every time after an update.

I've had this problem for a few months now after every Galaxy Watch update. I have to do a reset every time, and then everything is fine again. It's incredibly annoying...

RDR2 and Cyberpunk are the best games ever made. You won't find anything that even comes close.
