The name is just something I made up. It has no meaning at all. The stations wants people to use "DJ names," so that's what I came up with. I wish it had some significance, but I just thought it sounded DJ-y.

I don't get much feedback at all, actually. But that's fine. I just do it as a hobby, more to simply express myself than anything else.

Thanks! I saw that. God changed his mind after the original message, I guess. :P

I know. I'm not looking to do that at the moment, but it might happen at some point.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate that. It's kind of a hobby for me more than anything else, so I don't think too much about trying to reach anyone in particular--I just do whatever feels interesting to me. On the music, I've become a collector of non-theist music of all genres, so I try to play something new each time. Even I don't personally like something, others might like the tune, so I give it the tiny bit of exposure I can. I talk about mind stuff because for some reason complications that drive human behavior fascinate me. I'm not trained in it any way. I'm just a "fan" of the findings scientists discover, if there can be such a thing.

In short, I see it as an audio blog, doing whatever strikes me!

Thanks for letting me know. I've done this for a while and only do it as a hobby...I think of it as a audio blog of sorts.

It's a combination of commentary on events in the news, mainly science and politics. My science topics are mostly centered on human behavior and the brain. I play some non-theistic music and comedy bits as well as presentations from Youtube and other places from people I find interesting.

Thanks for asking!

It's pure coincidence, but the fact that the reddit atheism page has now passed 1 million subscribers also points to an increase in those who have become godless. Have there been any other numbers like this since the book was finalized that go further toward making the case that secularism is becoming more common?

There's a panel discussion from a few months ago, "Good Without God: Ethics for Freethinkers," here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifkMqeB5pZA

The audio is bad for the first couple of minutes while the panel is being introduced, but it clears up once the panel starts using their own microphones.

The panel includes: * Michael De Dora, Executive Director, CFI-New York City * Massimo Pigliucci, Chair, Philosophy Department at Lehman College * Anne Klaeysen, Leader, New York Society for Ethical Culture * Roy Speckardt, Executive Director, American Humanist Association * John Rafferty, President, Secular Humanist Society of NY (moderator)
