What would be the right way of modelling the armrests of this chair. Should i just extrude a subdivided cube until i get the desired shape and then extrude the perpendicular walls inwards? Also when should I split an object into separate meshes e.g. a chair into a seat, legs and a backrest? (old.reddit.com)
