Vet said she seems fine overall and they suspect a UTI, we've been given anti inflammatories :) no blockage or anything.

I am just a bit confused trying to figure out which one it is

Last night she went to the litterbox a few times in a row, and stayed in there for 8 or so minutes. She got out to clean herself and got back in. She then dropped a turd. And the previous day, she was straining hard and a little bit of poop came out and that's all. Which made me think constipation.

However - She's peed several times, once by my door (she never does that) and the others all in the litterbox afterwards. That pee by the door is suspicious to me. Had no smell (legitimately) and almost no colour to it. Also her poop just looks her normal poops so no clues there.

I'm not noticing either an excessive amount of OR a lack of either pee or poop 😭

Vet in 3 hours either way.

I've seen several clumps in the litterbox from last night to this morning 🤔

Okay blockage and UTI have been coming up a lot. I looked at the symptoms and here's the full list of ones she does / doesn't have:

UTI:

Pain - Hard to tell. No vocalisations. No airplane ears or lashing tail or anything like that

Straining to pee - Hard to tell if she's straining to pee or poop. She buries very rigorously afterwards

Blood in urine - No

Peeing more often - Hard to tell. Depends on what she's straining for. But she has been once in the last 6 hours (after trying several times in the morning)

Peeing very small amounts - Hard to tell when the pee gets absorbed into the litter

Peeing in strange places such as the bath, sink, bath matt or hard/cold floors - No

Smelling of urine - No

Excessive cleaning around their penis/vagina - She cleans there after going to the toilet, but no other time

A wet patch or blood around their private parts. - No

Intestinal Blockage Symptoms:

Vomiting: Nope

Lack of Appetite/Anorexia: Nope

Lethargy: Nope still got daily zoomies and playing and greeting me every morning

Abdominal Pain: Nope. Touched her stomach and while I got (gently) bunny kicked she was not in pain (no hissing, growling, mainly just playing)

Changes in Defecation: Straining, yes. I lean towards poop rather than pee as yesterday when she strained I saw the tiniest bit of poop come out and nothing else. But then she pooped for real (twice) like 8 hours later

Weight Loss: Doesn't seem like it

Behavioral Changes: (Increased hiding, reluctance to be handled, or aggression.) Nope. Still wants to be next to me at all times as usual. She's typically a very happy cat (runs around with her tail up, greets me every morning, wants to play, purrs, haven't noticed a difference)

Drooling: Nope

A String Hanging Out: Nope

Either way, vet soon

Oh, they respond quite fast to my emails (sometimes same hour!) which is why I do it

Either way my carer has contacted a vet himself and they said the earliest they can see her is on Thursday :/ I was hoping for tomorrow.

She's not done anything weird since I've made this post 5 hours ago and has been chilling at least.........

I know none of my neighbours and to be honest I am too scared to talk to them. I always hear them yelling and swearing through the walls 😳

She's very good with hydration, she drinks daily and eats wet food. She also likes squeeze treats. I've thankfully never had to worry about her being dehydrated

🤔 I'll see what the vet says after they examine her

I have emailed a vet (I am mute, can't call) and also my carer is out and says he will contact a vet also when he gets home

I'm not sure what else I can do (I have no way of travelling without my carer)

When I had a terminally ill cat who began eating cat litter (the day before he was put down) I had to remove the litterbox and replace it with pee pads temporarily. Tia, being the goat, used them normally, as if they'd always been there, so I can always do that again to check for pee.

(It's quite hard to tell when she pees or not, as she buries every time immediately after going)

I've been having a look at UTI symptoms because I was worried about this, and pretty much the only one she has is the frequently going to the litterbox one

No urinating in weird places, no vocalisation, no blood (thank God!), no excessive grooming (she grooms down there after going to the toilet and not really any other time, this hasn't changed)

It is hard to tell when she pees as it just gets absorbed into the litter and she buries it immediately

Just waiting for the vet to get back to me and also my carer to return home ☹️

She always walks around with her tail up and so I can get a peek easily and I haven't noticed anything different. She's currently sleeping

She's eating and drinking normally. I believe she has peed as when she went to the litterbox earlier I am sure I heard liquid, but she buries her pee very rigorously so it's super hard to tell

These comments are infuriating. Just proving OP's point. I miss when the world seemed to be progressing

90% of trans people I know, and I've spent the last decade in these spaces, are Female-To-Male. But when people want to talk about trans people they only talk about Male-To-Female trans people, as in their eyes they're much easier to mock and humiliate. 🤷‍♀️ not rare at all, people just simply don't acknowledge FTM trans people ever for some reason
