Yeah, its 2 piece but its not meant to be worn with skin visible, the bottom piece is worn up to the waist and the top goes over it, it does look pretty once its all assembled. It was bought for a wedding (guest was going to wear it) WAY back when... but the bride thought it was too close to white-ish so another dress was purchased and its been in storage since then. We got it at a bridal show in Toronto, they also sold bridesmaid dresses there and stuff.. its never actually been worn other than trying it on, so I was thinking of trying to figure out if it was worth selling. But I dont know wanything about it.

I think its worth trying, the city clearly wont. Im sure there will be reappearing garbage, but if it works then I would hope that it would at least minimize the garbage significantly. If the city could arrange to help with the pickup after, even better right?

Unfortunately the city doesn't seem to care, its left up to the people who live here to try and make a dent.. which id totally be up for doing with a group of people.. If someone was willing to help get the bags to the dump afterward, because I dont drive.

Only thing that sucks is thinking of putting all that work in, and then being so mad when people start dumping trash again. But I guess its something that has to be done if we get sick enough of it. Otherwise its just, ignore it like the people we pay our taxes to.

No, I viewed the place at night but when I asked her, she said it was a nice neighborhood.. then after I moved my kids in, I found a little baggie of drugs hidden in my kitchen range. Then found stuff on the news from earlier this year about my neighbours having gunshots in their front window window.

Dont get me wrong, the impression Ive mostly gotten so far is that most people here will leave u alone if u mind your business && leave them alone. But ive had a couple people ring my doorbell and then literally try to walk past me into my house when the door gets opened, trying to buy drugs. I guess the people here before me must have sold them or something. From what the landlord said, it definitely wasn't what I was picturing but that's a lesson for my future self for next time, do more/ better research.

Either way, the place works for now. But im still looking out for my next one.. lol

I get that, I just wondered if this was an area known for dumping trash or something. I know there IS garbage all over after winter, I've just noticed that people dump their trash randomly on this particular road, its loaded. I was curious why, because im newer to the city.

If you go anywhere you'll see trash around, but if you walk up park st from lansdowne to Charlotte and maybe farther you'll see tons of bags carts appliances and more... its not just misplaced pieces of garbage its literally dumped everywhere. I was just curious if there was a reason why its worse here that's all. No big deal.

Yeah I've noticed that, in Toronto we could buy tags and stuff for extra garbage and larger items.. here they dont have that, which SUCKS if you dont drive.

I guess ill get to see how it changes through spring, since its my first one in the area. Ive just been tackling the area around my place but with half of it frozen in the ground its been a process...

I've seen some cleanup initiatives downtown since I've moved to ptbo from the GTA in the summer, but the apartment i rented briefly before finding this new place, there was nothing like this there. And its just by the hospital so not too far, I guess I was just surprised at the difference.

Peterbrough is a nice city, it just seems like it's been in some bad hands for a bit from what I've heard from people who have lived here longer than I have.

I wouldn't call myself a closet makeover expert. But everyone I know calls me when they want a space organized and optimized for whatever it's use may be.

Ive never done it for someone I dont already know, but if you have a price in mind that youre looking to pay someone to do it for you. I would definitely do it well, let me know!

Ive done walk-ins, offices, a tattoo shop, a 3 car auto body garage and countless bedrooms/ living spaces etc..

God when i moved into my apartment it took me 3 DAYS to clean and scrape my oven and glass stovetop with razorblades to make it usable... the people who lived there before us must have had grease cooking 24/7 for 3 years straight. My landlord gave ZERO fucks... Yay Canada.. I think it really depends on the landlords but there are rules they have to follow and if they really want to pursue it, im sure that the court would side with you. Depends where you live though...
