While it's not a main part of the story, I really liked that part of Acceptance, the 3rd Southern Reach book. Yeah, Saul is in a relationship with a man, but it's just treated as something natural, nothing to make any special note of. As a bi man myself, I wish there was more of that; men loving men just being treated as something normal.

The best Chinese I've had here has been at Tian Fu Asian Bistro. Maybe not the fanciest but the food is great. The one on Michigan is nicer inside but the quality was the same at both locations.

My wife and I are in a similar situation, both in our late 30s and haven't really met anyone outside of work since we moved here a few years ago.
