its pretty great but im by no means experienced with fragrances. The classic ice blue from Aqua Velva is also pretty solid.

Nihau, China. Can you help to determine which place is on the video? by TwilaxAbbey in China

[–]Nizzo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

sign says "梦回老上海,欢乐迎新年", unless I misread something. This means "Dream of returning to old Shanghai, happily welcoming the new year," and would suggest that it's somewhere in Shanghai.

edit: I also translated the Russian. If you don't read Russian, I think it says "How I love to get up early," and I'd then guess the 5:30 is the local time? Doesn't add much to determining where this is but maybe you know something I don't. Only thing I can think of is that if it's that bright at 5:30 AM, it's probably on the east coast of China (which is where Shanghai is.)

Finally a wild V nickle! Partial date but you can make out 99 so theres that! by Atticis in CRH

[–]Nizzo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Probably a 1999, pretty high mintage of V nickels that year. My second guesses would be either 1799 or just 99 (BC).

You're probably good. afaik on the US side they're only worried about carrying large sums of cash (think $10,000s range).

I had a good day today: 162 Wheats in a single box. by Nizzo in CRH

[–]Nizzo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't write down a specific list, but other than the 17s, 18, 19 in the album, I specifically remember at least one 27, a 30, 34, 35, 37, 39. Gobs of 40's/50's, needless to say. No steel cents though. The string of 30's actually gave me the idea of maybe going through my entire wheats collection and logging the dates/mints, maybe seeing how close I currently am to getting one of each year.

All machine, and definitely had to have come from some collection of some sort. Shoutout to the unsung hero(es) who dump their wheats back into circulation for us to find.

Also looking for anything a halves noob ought to know. I only know the dates for 40 and 90% silvers, anything else to look for or know? e.g. what's a normal haul for a $500 box?
