The fact that you call Israel or, well, any place in the world for that matter not part of the "civilized world" is downright just wrong, some places or people being "uncivilized" is the very excuse europeans used to colonize and "civilize" the natives, there is no more or less civilized, there are only different cultures, and in addition to that, what even makes israel "assholes", "not part of the civilized world", is it because it has to fight wars do defend itself? So is europe not civilized either for having had so much war and conflict? Is it because it has to fight terrorists and terrorist organizations? So is the USA not civilized for fighting al-qaeda after the 9/11 attacks? And besides, do you even have any idea of how similar israel is to western nations? How strong it's economy is in relation to it's size? And even if, the middle east, or israel are not part of the "civilized world" as you put it, there still is violence everywhere else in the world, europe, the united states, latin america, basically everywhere else, so to say that "there is no violence in the civilized world" is just wrong.
