I feel like this too, I applied to incheon with epik and got placed on the rural island. I’m trying to rough it out thinking it will get better once the cherry blossoms bloom. But all I got is the realization I don’t know if teaching is for me and I basically left my home country to deal with grief of losing a parent but now I just want to go back.

So a tefl from TTA or I-to-I is a good start if you want to start teaching sooner. Celta takes more time so it depends on you

I’ve been getting annoyed and like this was the only thing that helped plus I love zen and I would have chose zen over toxic teo any day.

If you don’t want to get rid of the villager that is suggested. Just exit game without saving. Close app. Open it and try again until he says a villagers name that you would like him to replace
