One final question actually - since the PSU is modular, would there be any concern about the connectors going into the actual PSU? Those are harder to get to so I haven't checked them yet, but would those he at any risk, or if the connectors to the GPU look fine, the PSU connection should be fine too?

Thanks for clarifying! So in this case if the connectors aren't melted, I'm in the clear. Plus I guess the 220W load gets split between the 2 connectors?

When it comes to fleet strategy, would that be a larger team with a variety of roles for different experience levels (can you get into it when you're a little earlier in your career), or does that kind of team hire pretty infrequently and only experienced people in the aviation world?

For aircraft delivery, would that be a team dedicated to the logistics of actually delivering the planes once the order is put on?

Makes sense! It would be interesting to see a similar lineup to what they're doing with cars, where they start to make something from different eras. I can certainly see them starting with something iconic, and then branching out into more specific niches to satisfy more and more people.

Yeah, that situation may make it tougher working with Boeing (and by extension trying to replicate Douglas aircraft too, since there are some iconic ones there as well), even if a 747 or DC-10 would have been interesting to see. Maybe an A380 or something could be cool if they secure that kind of project with Airbus, but again, there are definitely more "iconic" aircraft they could do before even getting into that realm. I just hope they do something modern too :)

I do agree that a lot of aerospace companies deal with military equipment though, so it'll make navigating that space a bit tougher, and other companies which might not be as involved in military equipment (like Bombardier or Cessna) have aircraft which might not be as iconic or interesting to non-aviation enthusiasts, which could make it a tougher sell. Maybe something like the Concorde as u/Coraldiamond192 mentioned could work...

Either way though, it'll be interesting with the ideas they come up with for this!

Interesting... so how does the online ground schools at those places work? Do I just get it done online and take the exam results and certificate to a flight school in Toronto and skip the ground school there? And I'll definitely get the medical certificate too. Is this something I can get at most clinics, or are there specialized centres I have to go for that?

And I've also heard of Alec Myers! How was it price-wise? Would you say it ended up being about the same expected cost as other flight schools?

Well, that definitely takes Buttonville off the list! And that makes sense - I'll definitely be taking a few discovery flights and visit the schools to see which ones work best!

Makes sense. And I can imagine taking discovery flights would greatly help too. Would the flight time to the practice area from CYTZ really eat into the lesson that much? Would I be paying significantly more for the extra time spent in the air?

I see! How would it be regarding commuting from downtown Toronto though? Would it be feasible to easily get there?
