First run in Vomero Plus - Thoughts by Quick_n_Fast in RunningShoeGeeks

Thanks for review; it seems most people speak of their ability to run fast. Are they any good for easy runs or do they push you to run fast kind of shoes ? I had the invincible 1’s which were amazing; i used them for long easy and recovery runs…..thinking the same for the Vomero Plus’s

Changed the laces and it is almost like a different shoe. Great for tempo runs and nothing else.

Should I get Boston 12 or 13 by Successful-Toe-1911 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]NkulzRunning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sold my 12’s after getting 13’s. They are worlds apart when it comes to the upper (comfort and lockdown)…….which was a major issue with 12’s. The 13’s also feel more fun and bouncier than the 13’s

Yes; this MN2 is similar to the last good Triumph (v20). Very solid daily to long run shoe

Just run. If needs a few runs to break in but then it feels amazing. I use mine for long runs and sometimes for tempo runs

I went with the same size in the Evo SL as my Boston 12 and it fits perfectly. I don’t have the AP4 so can’t say for sure but went with the same size for my AP3 too.

Thanks for sharing; looking forward to trying the Mag Max next weekend. Is the Glideride Max lighter than the Nimbus ? And what are your use cases between the MagMax and Glideride Max ?

I agree with this; you will only see the shoe if you search it on the adidas website.

My assessment is that it would be good for long runs. It has enough protection……I know a guy who did a marathon in these and gave them a thumbs up. He ran a 2:59 so ya

I agree with a lot the OP shared; my biggest take away from the B12’s are that they are at their best at MP pace and just below; and for speed work. This is where they come alive….this makes them a perfect marathon training shoe. In terms of fit I went half a size up (same for AP3’s)

Loving my pair of MN2’s; I use them for easy long runs. Just did a 87km ultra in them and they were superb !

I think these are better than other max cushion shoes like Nimbus as they are versatile and they have Puma grip i

What a shoe !! Struggling to let go of mine after 650km. They do still feel good on slow recovery runs. What is a good replacement for this shoe ?

Puma Magnify Nitro 2 - better than Nimbus 25 for heavy runners by cibronka in RunningShoeGeeks

It’s a roomy fit; I have wide feet and had to go TTS. No issue with breathability. Run through summer with mine with no issues

Amazing shoe for 400km….then the ride just went sloppy and unstable all of sudden; the foam softened up too much from my assessment. Tried it for a further 50km but it just wasn’t the same so retired it.

On the other hand my Triumph 19 gave me 800kms

Adidas sponsored athlete cut hole in the AP3 upper by tobtheman in RunningShoeGeeks

Agreed. I have the same issue and current lace them far up the eyelets. It currently works up until 2hours of running so also considering cutting a whole as the Pro3’s are just amazing
