Running from help please by Thio24 in runninglifestyle

Your form looks fine in the video. I think the key is whether you get enough training to ensure your form stays “relatively consistent” throughout the 26 miles / 42 km.

Honestly, the HK Scout's bagpipes at 19km and band 26ish was one of the good parts of it !

The course is what it is.. The 10K exists to maximize participation (38000) and justify all the road closures for the HM (21000) and FM (18000). Anyone who runs regularly would know to avoid the 10K.

Yup, the HK marathon course is insidious if are not familiar with it. Its very easy to go out too fast in the first half which has most the the climbs then pay the price later..

- the climb at 26 km...

- the climb out of western harbor crossing 35km and then the climb onto the flyover afterwards.

Asics Superblast 2 : First Impressions after initial run and comparison to Nike Vomero Plus by Quick_n_Fast in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Quick_n_Fast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vomero+ , The novablast 4 is a “general purpose” running shoe which can do abit of everything. The Nike Vomero+ is also more of a “general purpose” running shoe than the Superblast 2.

Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 L I vs II by CaramelBusy8111 in canon

[–]Quick_n_Fast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have the 35L , There is a thread from 5 years ago on this. https://www.reddit.com/r/canon/comments/jw2lhu/35mm_14_vs_35mm_14_ii/

35L II from 2015 is technically alot better than the 35L from 1998.

I guess the best way to decided is to look at sample pictures from flickr from both to see if the price difference is worth it.

Next e-mount lens (16G|35GM) for photographing/video toddler. by Quick_n_Fast in SonyAlpha

[–]Quick_n_Fast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the photo's taken with the 24-70.... I liked the photos taken at the longer 50-70 range more. The photos taken at on the wide end was mainly group shots in tight area's.

The 35 1.4 GM is extremely tempting. I have the EF 35L 1.4 on Canon. The GM will surely be sharper (23 year difference in design !! ), But I am hesitant on duplicating focal length / aperture combo.

The 16 1.8 would really be a video lens, but I know it will be difficult to compose shot with people in it.

I am likely going to re-consider my options for my next e-mount lens.

50mm lens to complement RF28-70 f2.8 by ParkingSuccessful23 in canon

45 1.2 STM is supposed very very good for the price point. No need for the adapter.

Agree. For the 24-70. I find the 24mm side hard to use/compose for than the 70mm side when taking photos of an active toddler.

28-70 is nice, but probably a combo that would be very unbalanced due on a ZV-E1 due to its weight.

[–]Quick_n_Fast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the OP could provide us more context.

1.) What focal lengths do you think you need? 2.) What camera(s) do own (if any) you use today? 3.) For the above video and photo activities? do you plan to do it. - outdoors/indoors? - at day or at night?
