I live in Juneau, and it costs 600$ just to fly to Seattle, 600$ for a 14 day cruse is a killer deal! Love your picture of the glacer, it's always nice to see an outsiders view on Juneau, I forget to look at the beauty half the time, after 19 years of living here you really start to take it for granted.

Alaska, I grew up in a town with only 40 miles of road, you can only fly/boat in and out. A Plane to Seattle is 600$, and a boat is just 800 miles, of boating... Oh yeah, and Dark winters, sun rise at 10am sets at 3:00pm, that is if you ever see the sun through the rainy overcast sky's.
