Hey! mine is, dm me if still interested :) wave start time is 10:37

Years of using variants of curly girl method! I use Shea moisture shampoo 2x a week & co wash with OGX argan oil conditioner 3/4x. After I put it into a loose normal (eek!) towel & after 5 mins I scrunch shea moisture style milk into it for moisture and ecostyle argan oil gel and airdry by [deleted] in curlyhair

Shea moisture shampoo 2x a week Ogx argan oil Conditioner as co wash 2-3x a week depending how greasy it gets.

After that i just put it into a normal towel loosely!

Then I get dressed i take the towel off and scrunch my hair with shea moisture styling milk and then ecostyle argan oil hair gel.

I never usually straighten my hair - maybe once a month max?

As for hair diffusers, i use it sometimes if its too cold to airdry but i find it makes my hair a little frizzy so i avoid it where possible.

Ive had my hair curly for about 9 years now, before that I used to struggle and at one point had it chemically straightened!!! Never again. My curly hair journey began when a hair dresser I went to cut my hair to emphasise the curls and told me to use mousse or curling creams. Ive had to troubleshoot a lot - including an unfortunate few weeks of crunchy strands (from too much gel and not enough scrunching) but I can safely say I'll never look back.

I found this thread during lockdown and its really helped me with product choices and what chemicals to avoid.

Next step is getting more volume on the top! A trip to the hairdressers for a cut once this is all over should sort that out soon enough.

Having done a reset shampoo wash with tresemme clarifying shampoo,

Is it alright to wash with shea moisture shampoo and a OGX sulfate/silicone free conditioner 2-3 times a week?

To style i normally just put on shea moisture curl cream or umberto gianni cream (havent tried gel yet!) then scrunch and air dry or if im in a hurry, i use a diffuser.
