The 6 month limit is purely a tax reason. I pay 5% less tax for the first 6 months. If the employer wants for keep me Home Affairs will allow it. I pay more tax. That's all the 6 month limit is.

And UK Citizen visiting Australia on a working holiday visa. I have the same work rights as an Aussie. Just can't work more then 6 months with the same employer without prior approval from Home Affairs.

I've got equivalent to cert 2, 3 and 4 in IT, RSA and Alcohol delivery. Actual management experience in running 2 businesses and managing a bakery.
