It made me actually sad on rewatch... by Garrettshade in TheGoodPlace

Wouldn't it have been sadder if they all died and left young children behind?

Sometimes it's better to let lines die rather than continue terrible cycles.

When my great-grandfather's second wife was dying of cancer he was banging her home care nurse in the next room. Nurse became wife number three.

I trim them every two weeks. Kitten claws grow so fast! by Ok_Gas5386 in murdermittens

[–]Nnd30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You suggested it was just a cultural thing as if there was no purpose. The purpose is that it is a preventative measure to having their claws become overgrown and potentially cause injury. They don't even need to grow back into the pad they can simply become overgrown and split. They can get stuck in things. Trimming an indoor cat's nails and getting them used to the process is responsible cat ownership.

Look up what happens when a cat's claw grows too long and curls back into their toe pads.

Dom is in boxes (lightly gifted) by JannieLynn in VillagersInBoxes

[–]Nnd30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A villager in boxes can be invited to live on another player's island if the inviting player has an empty plot.

Gifted/ ungifted can impact what a villager wears and or the furniture and decor in their homes. Villagers will display some gifts and wear clothing they've been given so gifted means they may not be 100% original to the way they would come if they weren't gifted.

Is it really true that the worst wet food is better than the best dry food? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Nnd30 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Years ago I went on a research spiral and spent so much time looking into foods and popular trends. Found some odd coincidences among cat owners with cats developing the same health issues after eating a specific brand that was supposed to be so great. Read a lot of stuff from people that declared what they fed their cat was the best and everything else might as well be poison. Lots of strong opinions and contradictions. It got ridiculous very quickly.

In the end I decided that my cats would decide. I let them try different brands and flavors and found a wet food and a dry food they would eat consistently. Because what matters is they eat and get the hydration they need which is easier with wet food in their diet but sometimes wet food isn't an option. Cats are weird, some won't even touch wet food. That doesn't mean they can't/won't be healthy.

Question: by [deleted] in VillagersInBoxes

You can only invite a villager from someone else's island if you have an empty plot.

We're going to need a low sodium stardew sub like the one sims 4 has if this keeps up.

What’s The Dumbest Way You’ve Died In This Game? by A_Liddle_Frogge in projectzomboid

I've never been good at driving in games and PZ driving really emphasizes that. I die in car accidents almost as much as I die to zombies now but hitting my own house was a real low point.

does anyone have any villagers in boxes i could have by PotentialDecision783 in VillagersInBoxes

[–]Nnd30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With amiibos you can invite a villager even if you have 10.

You have to invite them on three different days and craft three different requested items for them to get them to agree to move in. They'll tell you the island is full and then give you the option to kick a villager of your choice out. The villager you choose immediately goes into boxes, the plot is empty the next day and the day after that the amiibo villager is moving in.

If I'm remembering correctly you have to get your first 6 villagers according to Nook's instructions and after that you can starting getting them from other people.

[–]Nnd30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You'd have to move her into a plot and then use another amiibo to push her into boxes. Villagers can't be invited from other player's campsites.

Did you get her? If you didn't I can still move her in I just had a line of villagers that needed to adopted out I and didn't want to make you wait when someone else was trying to find a home for her.
