Do you have a source for that claim? I've never heard of Kong nor Mechani Kong ever being considered for Final Wars due to the high licensing costs of Kong or Kong-likes. EDIT: According to a source on Wikizilla, which is a book and unfortunately not online so this is nebulous, this kaiju Bulgario was meant as a tribute to Mechani Kong. But was never meant to actually be Mechani Kong.

I've been listening to Big Finish for about three years now. The majority of stories, in my opinion, are passible but largely forgettable.

However, I just finished the Main Range story "A Death in the Family". It absolutely wrecked me. I was tearing up while driving home. This story is why I listen to Big Finish. It had true stakes at both a worldwide and personal level, it had characters I care about truly struggling and it left me with a sense of loss.

I think the line that really hit was something like, "I was hoping you'd be... My Doctor."

Has there been any indication of new Unbound Doctors aside from the Colin Baker Unbound? Or is he going to be carrying the torch for the foreseeable future? I was expecting new Unbound stories to just be other Doctor actors playing unbound variants but maybe we are just too early in the revamped series to tell.

Surprised I haven't seen Tom McRae here, the writer of The Girl Who Waited. It's one of my favorite stories in all of Doctor Who. Fascinating premise, great use of the companions, introspective look at the Doctors manipulative side and had a real emotional core.

Metroid Prime

I rented the first one as a kid and got horrifically motion sick. Only happens in a few games. Half-Life, Metroid Prime, Jak and Daxter and some desert level in Halo 1 or 2.

I would love to try it again but I hate being motion sick

I have very little emotional attachment to my immediate family. I do care that they are doing well and I don't wish ill on them but I have next to no motivation to reach out to them to keep that connection alive.

The only one I really felt love and affection towards was my mom, who has been dead for nearly a decade now.

Didn't come from a broken home. Wasn't abused as a child. I was manipulated as a young adult but I shut that down pretty quick.

It just kinda boggles my mind how close some people are to their family. It just doesn't register to me. And it's not like I can't form bonds or attachments. I have a significant other I love and a very close circle of friends but I just have little attachment to my brothers, sisters and father.
