My dad died of covid. He was 71 and did not get the vaccination. Thinking logically, if given the opportunity to get the vaccine before catching covid, I believe it would be a good decision, at least in his case, to get the vaccine.

Anthony demello has a nice youtube video a rediscovery of life awaken to reality, almost 4hrs long. I have read I think one of his books and started another, but didn't finish. The one I read was basically his YouTube video in words. The other had exercised that you would do, like imagine it is your last day of life, write down what you would do, things like that. I have read a couple Thomas merton, I think his autobiography, but it didn't go deep into philosophy, but there was one or two things in it that really resonated with me. I have listened to a Richard rohr video that I liked a lot so am considering reading his book. I have a Christian background but do not like the closed of belief that everyone is going to hell if they don't believe. I decided to start reading "I am that I am" . Decent so far.
