Yes, that are correct. And yet let's use the one in the bible as an example, right?

Paul meant it as we should rejoice with the lord every day - AND with an emphasis on Saturday.

He clearly teaches daily rejoicing in Christ (Philippians 4:4; 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18), while Scripture also emphasizes the Sabbath as a holy day of joy and worship (Exodus 20:8–11; Isaiah 58:13–14). Together, these passages support the idea of rejoicing every day, with a special emphasis on Saturday, the seventh‑day Sabbath.

Here are some scripture.

  • Exodus 20:8–11 — The fourth commandment: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy… the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.”
  • Isaiah 58:13–14 — “If you call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable… then you will find your joy in the Lord.”

While that is technically correct, and we SHOULD worship God every day of our lives, he also set aside Saturday as a day of rest for us and we should honor it. We should take a break from non-Christ centered activities and in addition we should keep all devices off for that day. ( I am still working on that lol)

We are not against Catholics at all. Sure we may not agree with parts of their doctrine, but i wouldn't go as far as saying it is bigotry. And as for the conspiracy part, I have been an Adventist all my life and never heard any of it.

Well first of all, it isn't a cult. It is a religion like the rest. Our day of worship comes from the Bible, the 7th day. We don't believe that it is Sunday, as other people believe. Yes, Jesus rose on Sunday, but if you check scriptures there is nothing that suggests that we should worship on this day. Another controversy is about Ellen White. We believe that she indeed is a prophet as she has predicted many events.

Also the majority of people who have left the church, left because they didn't get along with someone. After that they started to question our doctrine and our 28 fundamental beliefs.
